We are always interested in whatever quirky stories may pop up in the news from time to time about how people use their caravans, and we believe that we may have found the most bizarre one yet. This is something that you might expect from a leading caravan television brand like ourselves here at Goodmans. The story includes the Bogancloch Treehouse in Rhynie, Scotland, which is not exactly the typical treehouse for one simple reason: it is actually a caravan that has been hoisted almost 13 feet up a tree. The story was reported by a number of different publications, including the Daily Mail but also other publications. Yes, you read that correctly; it is a touring caravan from the 1960s that has what its owner has referred to as a “shabby” interior. Additionally, it does not have access to mains electricity, internet, or bathroom facilities. In a nutshell, it is not the most convenient location to set up a television in a caravan. Despite this, the odd vacation spot has managed to earn an amazing average rating of 4.5 out of five stars on the rental website Airbnb, which is comprised of 122 reviews. an experience that is one of a kind for vacationers It was stated in the mail that the unique lodging was being given for only seventeen pounds per night. This is an even more astounding price when one considers the fact that it was originally used as a prop in a film. Well, at least that is the truth in a technical sense: it was included in a short film that was released in 2011 and was titled “two years at sea.” The lone actor in the film was the owner of the caravan, a merchant sailor named Jake Williams. After the shooting was over, he decided to rent out the caravan rather than removing it from its high position. This decision was made after the filming was finished. It is fair to say that his Airbnb description of the lodging is a straightforward one. In it, he encourages potential visitors to “bring your own sleeping bag (or sheets), but it is possible to be comfortable.” Despite this, it is a reasonable statement to make. Those who do decide to remain seem to be having the time of their lives, which goes without saying. “We decided that Jake could do with a bad review, to balance out all the effusive praise the treehouse has been receiving and to generally reduce people’s expectations,” one of the guests commented in response to one of the many great reviews that were written about the treehouse. It is unfortunate that, as I pointed out to him, the treehouse would have needed to be significantly less cozy, the scenery would have needed to be significantly less beautiful, and the man himself would have needed to be significantly less hospitable and enjoyable for this to be anything other than glowing. Rather of bringing your own caravan to life, why you try something a little bit more conventional? Unfortunately, here at Goodmans TV, we are unable to supply you with a method of lifting your caravan up a tree, nor would we particularly suggest that you do so. What we are able to do, however, is guarantee that you will experience a bit more traditional excitement in the shape of a smart and fully-featured led television. If you want to make sure that you get the most out of your next summer vacations, regardless of where you and your caravan decide to spend them, why not make your order from our most recent product selection right now?
