With the first day of July in 2003, I launched my own company. At that time, I was completely clueless about how to manage a company. or what it meant to go off on one’s own enterprise. I became aware of it during the course of my life. On the other hand, learning about marketing, sales, copywriting, business models, and other related topics is a very simple task. It is just a matter of taking actions and putting information into practice. Additionally, you practice, practice, and practice some more, and that is all there is to it. Some people are more skilled than others, yet everyone has the potential to improve. Only the work done on the inside is really important. That is the aspect that is the most difficult and perplexing. Once you have done the essential alterations and transformations on the inside, the exterior stuff is much simpler to deal with. When it comes to personal growth and development, being an entrepreneur and owning a company is really the route to personal development. I will post a series of two posts in which I will share ten of the most important things that I have learnt, regardless of whether you agree with me or not. Part 1 is as follows: first lesson To be successful as an entrepreneur, you need to be visible. regardless of whether you agree with it or not Immediately after I began my company, the first thing I did was go inside and remain there for a while. literally. I had always known that I need a significant amount of time to be by myself, but I had no idea how much time I required until I began my own company. As a matter of fact, this was the very first time in my whole life that I was able to entirely give in to this craving to be by myself. And wow, did it make me feel wonderful! The fact that no one knew who I was, that I did not have a website, and that I was not visible anywhere might be considered detrimental to my company. I had customers, but there were never enough of them. 2005 was the year that I began to learn about marketing and sales, although with some reluctance. My blog is where I talked about how I finally discovered how to be a happy hermit in business. I am pleased that I have finally learnt how to do that. The second lesson is that having a strong sense of purpose and goal is what helps you get through difficult times and concerns. I had no interest in gaining knowledge about marketing. That seemed to me to be a slimy, phony, and shallow piece of junk. I began studying about it because I had no other idea how to salvage my company. That was the sole reason I started learning about it. The idea of going back to work was not a viable option. I had a great sense of purpose, and I was aware that becoming an entrepreneur was the only way for me to be able to provide the world with the value that I bring to it. …and the whole globe. Back then, I didn’t think it was a big deal. It was as large as I dared to imagine that I would be able to serve enough people to be able to pay the bills and alter some people’s lives. number three Don’t judge yourself based on how others are. For the purpose of gaining knowledge about marketing, I attended a group program that was led by an excellent marketing coach that I loved. I was able to acquire knowledge. s….l…..o……w……..l………y. I felt like a loser in that group, and it was a pain. like I experienced in the majority of the marketing programs that I took part in. Almost everyone else was successful, but I was not. Sometimes, maybe, a very minute consequence is produced. but never something that was similar to every other member of the gang. And as a result of comparing myself to them, I began to feel that I just did not possess the qualities necessary to be a successful business owner. To my knowledge, that is not the case. On the other hand, it took me some time to get rid of that mindset once again. The fourth lesson is that you should never blindly accept advice; instead, you should always do things in your own way. I used to feel that I was not a good entrepreneur because I constantly thought that I didn’t know enough or that I didn’t act in the appropriate manner. In order to further my education, I continued to study, learn, and learn some more. including but not limited to marketing, sales, copywriting, speaking, and so on and so forth. The things that I learnt were useful, and they were effective. Due to the fact that it did not always work for me, I realized that it is completely pointless to blindly implement what you have learnt if it is not a perfect fit for you. something that I already adhered to in every other aspect of my life and career, with the exception of matters concerning marketing and being an entrepreneur. On the other hand, since I had doubts about my capabilities and talents, I sometimes took suggestions that didn’t seem absolutely appropriate for me. fifth and final lesson Listen to your gut instincts at all times and incorporate them into every aspect of your company. I have always relied on my intuition to lead me in making the finest judgments I have ever made. Moreover, there is one thing that all of my poor choices had in common: I disregarded my gut instinct. When I didn’t hear it, it happened sometimes. Occasionally, since I did not have faith in it. And there were moments when I didn’t like what my intuition was telling me; it either made me feel uncomfortable or it made me feel terrified. It was something that I listened to in some aspects of my company, but not in every circumstance. To give you an example, I never made a deliberate effort to leverage my intuition in my marketing. But whenever I do, I come up with far better ones. concepts that make me happy and that I find to be enjoyable in my own right! I am inspired by the concept of introducing my program, Business Magic, with a complimentary lesson. maybe an idea for a celebration celebrating the happy hermit’s tenth year. The two concepts are ones that bring a grin to my face and are a fantastic match for me. As a consequence of the fact that working on them is enjoyable, it is also simpler to achieve the desired outcomes. This week’s action that transformed the situation Is there a particular takeaway from this post that strikes a chord with you? In such case, you should investigate what this reveals about your company or about yourself. This lesson might be beneficial to you in what ways? The following week, I will discuss the remaining five tips that I have picked up during the course of my company’s ten-year history. ‘see’ you then, shall we?
