On the occasion of its 100th year of cultivating grapes and its fifth year operating its tasting facility in Carmel Valley, Twisted Roots Wine is honoring both milestones. Twisted Roots Wine is commemorating its 100th year of cultivating grapes and its fifth year in its tasting facility in Carmel Valley. Rentals may be arranged between the hours of 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., and they are available in increments of two hours, half day (up to five hours), and full day. For either a stand-up reception or a sit-down supper, the venue has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of seventy-five individuals. Between the months of May and October, the venue is unavailable on weekends, with the exception of after 5:30 p.m. The 1918 Room is available at any time and does not be subject to any rental limits. For the sole purpose of wine pouring, staff is supplied. There is the possibility of providing personnel at a rate of fifty dollars per hour if you want support with other aspects related to your event. When you are renting the space, please keep this in mind. When renting for up to twenty guests, the only personnel that will be present is to serve wine. For rentals that have more than twenty persons, there will be a fee of fifty dollars for help with pouring. Up to 8:30 p.m., live music is permitted, and caterers are required to have a valid license. A date-hold deposit and a signed contract are required in order to reserve the date and time of the event. The amount of the date-hold deposit is calculated based on fifty percent of the rental request. It is required that the remaining amount of the venue rental price be paid five business days before the event. Customers who are members of the general public will be eligible for a discount of fifteen percent on wine purchases when they hire the Tasting Room and Patio. Those who are members of the Wine Club will be eligible for a discount of fifteen percent on all wine purchases and rental fees.
