The Christian who reads the Bible is aware that while politics and religion (faith) may be connected, they are not the same thing: they are not similar. Although Mr. Trump will serve as our President, he will not be our pastor, and he will not be able to provide us with what the Holy Spirit is the only one who can do. The simplest way to put it is to quote Chuck Colson, author of the well-selling book “Born Again.” – “There is no way that the kingdom of God will come aboard Air Force One…” It is a chance to alter course and remove some of the most harmful legacies and laws that have been passed down to weaken our country throughout its entire history. This opportunity will come aboard Air Force One. A great number of people are celebrating in what seems to be a miracle from God in the result of this contentious election. Others are cautious and are referring to it as a respite or a term of probation for the United States of America to stop and seriously evaluate the significant descent into profound immorality that we have been experiencing over the course of many generations. It is the beginning of a rebirth or a renewal, according to many people. It has been brought to our attention by a multitude of influential individuals, including Anne Graham Lotz and Franklin Graham, that we need to pray even more than we did in the past. Their position is correct for a number of reasons. Not only did Hillary Clinton win 228 electoral votes, but she also received more popular votes than Donald Trump did. This fact is strengthened when one takes into consideration both of these achievements. Mr. Trump received about 59.7 million votes, whereas Hillary received 59.9 million votes from the general public. The anti-Trump marches and the near-rioting that are taking place in our cities are not a healthy indication. The news outlet Breitbart has reported that a senior admissions worker at George Mason University (GMU) has recently been quoted as saying that conservatives and Christians are “worthless garbage.” It is possible that some people are prepared to assert that those who disagree with the government are demon-influenced scoundrels who want to maintain the nation on the path that leads to anarchy and pure evil. When they see the country once again moving smoothly toward a better future, some people believe that we will be able to reassure a significant number of the progressives and liberals who have been alienated from us in the future. Taking into consideration that Mr. Trump has already strayed off center in previous statements made to CBS News sources, this intricacy will be exceedingly difficult to negotiate. In terms of morality, the two most serious offenses that seem to be begging for God’s punishment are marriages between people of the same gender and assisted suicide. Reports from ABC indicate that when Mr. Trump was questioned, he said that he is “fine” with marriages between people of the same gender and that the issue has been “settled” as the law of the nation. The overturning of the verdict in Obergefell v. Hodges, which recognized unions between people of the same gender, is not only in direct opposition to the deeply held convictions of Mike Pence, who is the vice president-elect of the United States, but it is also a portion of the Republican Party’s policy. When a mixed blessing takes on the impact of a half curse, this is the situation that occurs. As per the scriptures, both same-sex partnerships and abortion are considered to be grave sins, which are so grave that they have the potential to bring a country to ground.
