The series called Ancient Aliens, which airs on the History Channel, has been one of the few television programs that has been able to hold my complete and whole attention. This is a highly fascinating and engaging approach to learn more about a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to physics, history, astronomy, architecture, archeology, religion, sociology, and many more. Even the most cynical person will find this method beneficial. However, the most essential aspect of the program is how well it links all of these different issues. The term “feng shui” was mentioned for the first time in relation to an ancient practice known as geomancy during the second season of the show; in actuality, feng shui was referred to as “chinese geomancy” in western academic circles for a very long time before this ancient, misunderstood form of predictive art became popular in the western world. It is often called “earth divination,” although the practice of geomancy really involves a wide variety of ideas and applications about the power that is inherent in the ground and how that power might be harnessed, in part via electromagnetism. In many of the episodes, the incredible and conventionally unexplainable structures that we have on our planet, such as the ancient pyramids and many other monuments, are brought to the forefront. These structures could not have possibly been built by human beings, unless they had technologies which surpassed our current construction capabilities. Examples of these kinds of structures include the ancient pyramids. Ancient subterranean constructions have proved just as spectacular as their surface counterparts. In addition to their enormous size and very precise geometry, the majority of these buildings were oriented in a direction that was consistent with either the north star or certain constellations, such as Orion. they were obviously designed to be observed from the sky, and they share many characteristics with each other in parts of the globe that would not seem to have ever known about each other, unless some ancient people truly possessed air craft that they could use to explore the planet. The proponents of the ancient astronaut theory are persuaded that the traces of technologically sophisticated cultures on Earth were either left behind by extraterrestrials or were created by humans with the aid of these beings. Many of these notions, when removed from their original setting, continue to seem implausible; yet, once feng shui enters the scene, its very beginnings are included. We believe that the Chinese are responsible for taking the discipline to a more advanced degree of complexity than, for example, its eastern-indian equivalent, which is known as vastu shastra. Despite this, there has been communication between the people of China, India, and Africa for thousands of years. Africa was particularly influential in this regard. If you perform a search on the internet for “magic squares,” you will discover that other great societies, going as far back as the period of the Sumerians, were all attempting to determine the importance of the celestial impacts on people and on our whole planet. Even though there were still some people who believed the planet was flat, many others realized that it was indeed round. And although we may consider the widespread worship of the sun to be pretty archaic now, we must remember that life on earth as we know it simply could not exist without the sun. More and more people believe that our world has undergone numerous technological revolutions in the past, but at the same time, we have also been responsible for our own annihilation on numerous occasions and have lost the technologically advanced knowledge we once possessed as recently as 6,000–9,000 years ago. The vast majority of this would be nothing more than speculation if it weren’t for the numerous archaeological discoveries. To name just a few surprising discoveries, there have been artifacts found that are tens of thousands of years old and appear to be hand-held computers or astronomical calculators. Another illustration of this may be found in the ancient Hindu writings, which clearly outline the feasible technical ideas for flying machines that the ancient Hindus referred to as “vimanas.” The legend that the first feng shui master found the luo-shu square, a directionology pattern that we use, on the back of a “turtle” rising from the river lo is one of the oldest and most well-known legends in Chinese folklore. This tale has been passed down from generation to generation. It is actually much more plausible that the symbolism that we came to know as the “trigrams” might have been a type of coded language found on the top of a round, disc-like alien space craft emerging from the water. This is something that ancient astronaut theorists have put forward, and it is a theory that has been put forth. UFOs are familiar to everyone, but did you know that there are also usos? (unidentified submarine objects.) The eight trigram theory and the hexagrams from the I Ching together make up the fundamental structure of Chinese metaphysics, which can be shown to have an effect on every facet of human existence. There is a correlation between the hexagrams and dna coding, and the Chinese had a working grasp of endocrinology as far back as 2,000 years ago. The work that Joseph Needham did in the 20th century demonstrated that the Chinese were already discovering and inventing things hundreds to thousands of years before Europeans or Americans did, and that they were well on their way to becoming the world’s leaders in leaps and bounds in virtually every field. Naturally, the philosophical issue that Needham posed was, “What occurred to make it all go so much more slowly?” Therefore, it is possible that we may never know for certain whether the Chinese were exceptionally cognitively talented or if they received an unfair edge from the “sky gods.” Many of the apparently mystical terminology that we use in feng shui are direct pointers to other fields of study, such as the term “flying stars,” which refers to constellations in the night sky. We use these terms in a casual setting, and in addition to their more in-depth explanations, they are connected to the stars in the Big Dipper. Other cultures, in addition to the Chinese, also used the words “heaven” and “gods” to refer to occurrences and energies for which they did not have any other words in their language. Heaven was used to describe what they expected to see in the sky, and gods were used to represent occurrences and energies. Even in these contemporary times, when something occurs that we really don’t yet comprehend scientifically (like a cancer going into remission on its own), we just label it a miracle.
