Alexander Scruggs’s Xander Caine and the Alien Prophecy was published in 2012 with the ISBN number 9781484105016. This book is intended for young adults and is about a person’s journey, both physically and emotionally. Xander has had a life of luxury and prosperity throughout his whole existence. It took him a very long time to figure out that individuals, including his good friends Kai and Priya, were living in the slums that were located beyond the limits of the city. xander’s home planet just concluded a battle that lasted for a hundred years between the two different civilizations that occupy it, which has forced them to cooperate with one another. Xander confronts his father with the question of why the latter never discusses his family, and the response he gets is quite revolting. In spite of the apparent “peace” that exists between the two civilizations, there are certain people who take a strong exception to what Xander’s father symbolizes (he is more than just a world-famous scientist). They intend to take action over it, which will result in the families (which will now include Kai, Priya, and their mother) being forced to depart more than once. Xander comes to understand that his fate is to actively participate in the events that will take place in the future, rather than to watch them unfold. This is a good piece of writing that has been done really effectively, and the author has left opportunity for a continuation of the story in it. It will be fun for teenagers.
