The Fungus Face Off, Mushroom Walk and Talks, and Special Raffles are just few of the fundraising events that will take place on Thursday and Friday nights. On December 24, 2017, at Big Sur, California – The Big Sur Foragers Festival is thrilled to announce that their featured event, the Fungus Face Off, will be returning to Ventana Big Sur, which has been a strong partner for many years, for the year 2018. All of the revenues from the festival activities will be donated to the Big Sur Health Center, which is a community-based organization that acts as a non-profit organization. This will assist ensure that the Big Sur region continues to have access to local healthcare services. This year includes: On Thursday, January 11th, we invite you to join us at Lugano Swiss Bistro for our Thursday Night event. On Thursday, January 11th, the restaurant will make a donation to the Big Sur Foragers Festival, which will support the Big Sur Health Center. The donation will consist of 25 percent of all purchases made on Fondue as well as any items off the menu, including beer and wine. That evening, Lugano’s will also be hosting live music performances. Have a good time, laugh, dance, and support the Big Sur Health Center all at the same time! In order to assist in the beginning of the Big Sur Foragers Festival weekend, Rio Grill Restaurant will be contributing ten percent of all dinner purchases on Friday, January 12th, up to a maximum of five hundred dollars.
