A project that was initially planned to be completed within the first semester has now evolved into a company setup that is being headed by two students of design engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, namely Hei\u00f0a Nols\u00f8e and Marie Berggreen (dtu). In addition to being made from recycled cardboard, dropbuckets come with a pe-liner that renders the cardboard water-resistant. The design of the structure, which is in the form of a pyramid, makes it resistant to wind, and it can be set up and ready to use in a very short amount of time with only a push. Moreover, it can be flat-packed, which helps to reduce the amount of space required for storage and makes it easier to travel; the fact that it is weightless makes it possible for ten flat-pack parts to be carried individually under each arm! It is possible to reuse the bin depending on the kind of garbage that it has previously contained, and the disposal process results in recycling. Because of all of these characteristics, the dropbucket is a container that is not only economical but also robust, portable, and environmentally friendly. At the millions of festivals and events that are held all over the globe, garbage disposal is sometimes an afterthought that is dealt with in a shoddy and unsatisfactory manner; dropbucket takes care of these last-minute aesthetics in a pragmatic manner.
