With my kid on one leg and a neighbor’s toddler on the other, I was sitting cross-legged on the sidewalk. Only I felt the street behind them. Everybody was gathered together. We left the scene and returned home. After putting my toddler to bed, I grabbed the signing book. The image of the kids in bloomer-style swimming costumes on the cover made the words “January 09” appear like “January 1909.” Another hint was the word “rose”; Bill has a rose tattooed on his arm.
