Darius G. Ridgen, who is the senior pastor of True Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the Ellicott District Common Council for the city of Buffalo, will be the one to give the graduating speech. The graduation exercises that are held annually at the college are something that Pastor Ridgen has participated in for the third time. His initial role was that of a clergyperson for the exercises, and since the graduates and their visitors responded so well to his message, he was requested to return the following year to give the graduation speech. That he accepted their offer to do so once again this year is something that the institution is really happy about.
