Reciting this ashtottaram is said to bring about the desired outcomes, and it is said to be especially precious to Lord Ganesha. I bow to the lord who is the leader of those who cannot be led by anybody. He is the remover of all barriers and issues, the giver of all siddhi (wealth), the phalam (results) of all the labor done. Ganesha is the ruler of wealth and knowledge. He grants his followers boons and grants their wishes. He is referred to be the remover of all barriers as well. Ganesha is a lord readily satisfied with love and devotion. He will protect you from all of life’s ills and worries. All of the upanishads, puranas, and vedas (the sacred texts of the Hindus) include several ganesha mantras meant to appease Ganpati. Lord Ganesha, the lord among all those born in the Himalayas, bestows wealth and all the comforts of life onto his devotees. the person whose hands are full with lotus flowers. the elephant among them who is revered as a deity. the one who travels around a lot and is the elephant killer. Pause. the one who stands by his followers. the individual with one tusk. I honor and beseech him. the one who drives his chariot with a mouse. the person with the modakas, or sweet treats, in his hands. The one with the completely black ears. the wearer of sacred thread, or janeu. The one with the little build. the Lord Shiva’s son. the one who eliminates barriers and issues. I extend to you my heartfelt namaskaram (prayers). It’s common to refer to Uchistha Ganesha Sadhna as the essence of all Ganesha chants. There is no need to wait for a certain lunar day or fortunate period to offer prayers to the auspicious god. In several Ganesha scriptures, rishi munis (sages) have stated that worshiping Ganesha should be done while indulging in fruits or his favorite modaks (laddoos). “Mantra japa” is another name for this mantra recitation.
