It’s once again Christmas season. Is it really true? It’s official—spring, summer, and autumn are over. It’s time to light the candles, decorate the trees, prepare the dinners, and make the present purchases once again. I promise myself that I’ll begin my present hunt in the summer every year. And each year, in the weeks that follow Thanksgiving, I find myself running around the internet in a frenzy trying to locate the perfect Christmas presents for my friends and family. I browse through shops, look over wish lists, and manage my spending. While shopping for gifts may be enjoyable, it’s also one of the most stressful periods of the year. In polls conducted by the American Psychological Association, 38% of respondents said that the holidays make them more stressed. Without a doubt, I would include myself in that 38 percent. Would you? If you suffer with Christmas shopping, like I do, there may be an alternative. I’ve been more and more into the notion of presenting presents with a garden theme in the last few years! Winter gifts are perfect for autumn and winter plants, winter container gardens, air plants, dish gardens, and other plants. Here are some of my top picks for wintertime gifts: read on. A personalized dish garden created particularly for me was one of the greatest presents I have ever received! I was given this winter container garden as a gift in December, and it gave me so much delight on those gloomy, chilly winter days. This small winter container garden, complete with little decorations, moss, and succulents, adds a little bit of the outdoors to my home office. Does anybody in your life—a friend, teacher, mentor, or relative—need a fuss-free little garden? A wonderful method to bring plants inside is with a terrarium or dish garden. Another enjoyable alternative for outdoor winter container gardening are friends with porches, decks, and patios. By working with your buddy to create a winter container garden that meets their needs, you may even put your skills to use and offer the gift of your gardening services. On a warm winter’s day, deliver the garden and have tea on the terrace. This seems like a really happy idea, indeed, from the beginning! A bonsai plant would make a simple, mess-free Christmas present. These elegant little trees provide brightness to any little area. One of my favorite things to give friends and family is a bonsai tree in a lovely vase. Giving a bonsai to someone in their teen or tween years is very enjoyable since the younger gardeners may shape and prune the trees to give them a distinctive appearance. I’ve had the good fortune to meet a few people who share my passion of gardening. However, there are also a lot of my friends and family members that have no interest in outside gardening on a huge scale. My go-to low-maintenance houseplant, the air plant, is usually my first choice when considering plants for autumn and winter that they could like. Because they are not needy, air plants are affordable garden presents that are ideal for practically everyone. All you need to do for air plants to flourish is give them plenty of ventilation and frequent watering. They don’t even need sowing in the ground! For yoga instructors, students, and anyone else you know who values the practice of yoga, figurines such as this beachside air plant yoga pose are a creative way to give them as gifts. Arranged individually or as a set on a desk, shelf, or windowsill, they would look fantastic. For several of my loved ones, I’m thinking about getting air plants, holders, and figurines. For those who live in apartments or homes, these are the ideal wintertime plants. We could all use a little green pick-me-up to put about the home this year. I may even gift one to myself. Happy giving! To create lovely small landscapes, miniature gardening provides a range of decorations, furniture, garden equipment, fairies, and miniature buildings.
