This pipe also defines several mini-areas inside the space, which creates the illusion that the lobby is underwater. It is the pipe that is reflected onto the floor, which helps to ensure that the area is effectively subdivided. In addition, in order to designate the distinct zones, two distinct materials, namely blue pvc carpet for the pool water and pvc wood flooring for the deck around the pool, are introduced on both sides of the projected pipe. A special emphasis is placed on two primary accent areas, despite the fact that the scope of the project encompasses the entire space. These areas are the signature lobby, which provides a lasting first impression to clients and visitors, and the pantry, which doubles as an all-important social space for informal gatherings and activities that build teamwork, rather than being merely a small, functional unit. In the pantry, there is a long yellow counter that serves to solve the practical elements, and at one end, there is a wooden mini-amphitheatre that serves to offer sufficient sitting places while also holding events or speeches that are open to the community. The end result is a multifunctional space with an open-office typology, in which each loop provides a mini-function, functionally efficient working spaces with long communal working tables as well as private offices with glass partitions filled with natural light and hanging greenery, providing multi-fold platforms for employee interaction.
