The importance of proper nutrition and overall physical health from the inside out is often disregarded in today’s society. We tend to be preoccupied with outward appearances, and as a result, we may overlook the fact that addressing the underlying causes is, in the long run, far more effective than treating the external results. I have developed a growing interest in holistic approaches and techniques that aim to better the mind, body, and spirit throughout the course of the few years that have passed. I would want to share with you today some helpful knowledge that I have seen and gathered over the course of time that is relevant to the health of the body. I ask that you get the information that you want from this essay. This is an invitation to contemplation, as well as an encouragement to do more research or even to consult with a nutritionist if you feel the need to do so and choose to exercise that option. We can know from our blood! As a vehicle and a representation of all that we consume, whether in the form of food, drink, intake, or absorption, our body is a vehicle. Although I am not a fan of extremes or significant life changes, I do believe that it is always beneficial to maintain a certain level of equilibrium and moderation when it comes to the foods, beverages, and other things that we are exposed to. The blood that is produced by our digestive system serves as a barometer of our overall health and is a reflection of all of the food and liquids that are taken into our bodies. In chemistry, the ph scale is used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of an aqueous solution. A blood microscope analysis takes about five minutes to complete and reveals a number of things, including how the body functions, the amount of toxins that have accumulated in the body, the state of health for the red cells and the oxygen transportation (wikipedia on red cells), the presence of any bacteria or mushrooms (yeast), the level of fat and hydration, clogged cells as a result of toxicity, and so on. The scale goes from 0 to 14, with 7 representing zero, and our blood falls somewhere in the region of 7.3 to 7.4 on the scale (wikipedia on ph). An alkaline environment is one that is above 7 and up to 14, whereas an acidic environment is one that is below 7 and down to 0. When both the blood and the body are overly acidic, they provide an unpleasant environment that is conducive to the growth of bacteria, yeast, and illnesses respectively. There are a variety of potential problems that may manifest, including but not limited to hormone illnesses, intestinal and lymphatic troubles, cancer, decreased oxygen intake, and weariness. From a scientific point of view, it has not been shown that an alkaline diet would eliminate these hazards. Moreover, our bodies are equipped with robust regulatory systems that are able to adjust to the environment as well as the foods that we choose to include in our diet. In spite of this, it is a fact that consuming a diet that is higher in alkaline can reduce the strain placed on your digestive system, as well as on your blood and body, during the process of ph balancing. In situations when the pH level is too acidic, the blood is able to balance it by drawing minerals from the muscles or, if any alkaline foods are consumed, from the body. While our muscles are alkaline, our mouth, digestive system, and mind (which is responsible for forming ideas) are all acidic. Because of this, an excessive amount of acidity leads to a deficiency in minerals (calcium, sodium, potassium, and magnesium), as well as a general weakening of the muscles and body. The objective would be to consume food that has a pH level that is comparable to that of the blood. Unfortunately, the way we spend our lives nowadays makes it more difficult to get our hands on things that are alkaline. Simply put, practically everything that is in our immediate vicinity is acidic. Acidic foods include processed foods, meat, condiments, alcoholic beverages, coffee, and cosmetics. This is also true for rumbling thoughts, excessive effort, stress, or the use of technology, all of which contribute to the production of acidity and lower the blood pH below neutral. The question now is, how can we make our bodies somewhat more alkaline? 1. Drink water that is alkaline! Both in terms of amount and quality, water is an essential component for the body to have in order to keep it working properly. The quantity is determined by a number of elements, including the environment, the health status of the individual, pregnancy in the case of women, the degree of physical exertion, and the amount of exercise. Regarding everything, it is possible to write a book just on this subject. The formula for the amount (in liters) is your weight in kilograms multiplied by 0.4. This is a simplified version of the formula. As an example, a person who weighs sixty kilograms has to consume 2.4 liters of water on a daily basis (60kg x 0.4). There is no count for beverages containing alcohol, coffee, or teas that include coffee, and the use of water should rise accordingly. Soup, herbal tea, and bottled water offered in stores are all fine options, provided that the label indicates a ph level of about 7. The majority of the water that is used for drinking is alkaline. Adding lemon juice, sodium carbonate, or purchasing a machine that automatically alkalizes would be sufficient to do the task if it is not already done. 2. Eat some leafy greens! The majority of green vegetables are alkaline, which means they are beneficial to digestion. Make a conscious effort to observe the difference in how you feel after consuming vegetables as opposed to meat or other processed foods. As a result of the system and blood being completely used for digestion, those who consume large meals experience feelings of exhaustion and heaviness. Vegetables, on the other hand, have the ability to make you feel light and invigorated. In addition, they include chlorophyll, which aids in the creation of oxygen and the delivery of oxygen into the cells 3. Consume veggies that contain proteins! Our bodies need proteins, but they must be of the alkaline kind, which may be found in vegetables. Meats with a ph that falls between 3 and 4 are classified as having a ph level that is lower than the ph level of our blood. On the other hand, some vegetables, such as broccoli, beans, peas, lentils, sprouts, mushrooms, maize, spinach, or artichoke, contain a significant amount of proteins and may serve as a suitable substitute for meat. To simplify things, the formula for determining the recommended amount of protein to consume (in grams) is your weight in kilograms multiplied by 0.8. (for example if you weigh 60kg you should eat around 50 grams of protein per day). In a perfect diet, meat or fish would be consumed just once per week, eggs would be consumed maybe twice per week, and the remaining nutrients would come from the consumption of greens. (the information for 1, 2, and 3 was gathered verbally during the nutrition program at the Life Co Center in Antalya, which may be found on the website www.thelife.com) 4. Include some healthy fats in your diet! The brain and the eyesight both benefit greatly from fat, and fat also helps you feel fuller for longer. It’s not always the case that fat is meat or things linked with it. The addition of alkaline items to your diet, such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado, or nuts and seeds that contain omega-3 fatty acids, is a great way to get the recommended amount of fat in your everyday diet. Good fats, also known as unsaturated fats, have been shown to lower cholesterol levels and improve cardiovascular health. Saturated fats, sometimes known as “bad fats,” are typically found in animal products and oils that have been heated. In terms of cooking, coconut oil, butter, olive oil, and avocado oil are all pretty decent options. On the other hand, seeds, nuts, and other vegetable oils like maize, sunflower, sesame, and canola oil, among others, include polyunsaturated fats, which are detrimental in the long term, particularly when it comes to cooking. The fifth is (https://authoritynutrition.com/healthy-cooking-oils/). Consume sugar that is naturally occurring! Sugar that is added to food does not contain any nutrients, is harmful to the teeth, causes the liver to become overloaded, may lead to addiction, and has been linked to a number of diseases, including diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, and heart disease. Sugar, like fats or carbohydrates, may be classified as either “good” or “bad,” much like the other two categories. Cakes, sweets, and other commercially processed items that include sugar among their components are broad examples of products that are not suggested to contain processed sugar or other comparable sweetener products. The consumption of fruits and vegetables is the most effective source of sugar and energy. There are other alternatives such as agave, stevia, and coconut sugar that works well. In addition, you may make cookies and treats with alkaline ingredients like almond milk, coconut, and bananas, which have a pH of about 9 (http://www.shape.com/latest-news-trends/good-sugar-vs-bad-sugar-become-more-sugar-savvy) 6. Your body needs a healthy quantity of salt! Salt provides the body with minerals and helps to maintain a healthy acidity balance. The quantity of minerals that are present in processed salt is really low. The Himalayan salt is an excellent current alternative since it has 84 different minerals in it. Because it has been maintained for millennia beneath ice and lava and has been kept free from contamination, it is an excellent source of minerals that are beneficial to one’s health. 7. Reduce your use of dairy products! Despite the fact that there is a great deal of disagreement, dairy products are typically difficult for the digestive system to digest, particularly as we become older and have less lactase enzymes (after the age of 4). It is estimated that the majority of people throughout the globe are either intolerant to dairy products or very allergic to them. In addition to the presence of a variety of chemical compounds that may be found in milk, such as antibiotics or pesticides (http://www.all-creatures.org/health/howmilkanddairy.html), cow’s milk has a far higher protein content than human milk does. This results in the production of acidity, which the body then uses to neutralize. Because it is an acidic source of calcium, our body will draw calcium from its own calcium reserves in order to maintain a balance, which will ultimately result in our bones being more fragile. Cheese, on the other hand, is not always a good thing, and here is where common sense rules. It is possible that in addition to milk, it also contains mushrooms (like yeast) or other microbes. Milk is the primary component of this product. Considering that goat milk and cheese have a DNA that is more similar to that of humans, they are a superior substitute. To make matters even better, you may manufacture your own cheese at home by using caju fruits and a variety of seasonings such as salt and garlic. how can you cleanse your body? Around five to six liters of blood, which accounts for seven percent of the body’s weight, is responsible for delivering oxygen and nutrition to the body, cleaning the waste that accumulates in our cells, warding off sickness, and transporting hormones and chemicals throughout the body. If our digestive system is functioning properly, it will use the blood to break down the food we eat into its component parts: carbs, lipids, proteins, and vitamins. As the amount of time spent by the blood on digestion increases, the amount of time and resources that are available for the other tasks of the body, such as cleansing the body, carrying oxygen to the cells, and eliminating waste and toxins, decreases. If you take a little gap between eating, it will allow the blood to conduct its other duties, which will ultimately enhance your health. For instance, fasting has been a part of several cultures for a very long time. The body is cleansed by a method that consists only of liquids and does not include any solid foods. Fasting once or twice a week between the hours of 18:00pm and 12:00am or between 12:00am and 6:00am is a more straightforward method of fasting. This indicates that you have had solid food for around 75 percent of the period and have allowed your body to detoxify for 25 percent of the time since you last consumed food. Information was gathered verbally during the nutrition program at the Life Co Center in Antalya, which may be found on the website www.thelife.com. How to have a balanced body: 14 recommendations 1. In the current world, one of the most significant challenges that people face is the size of the portion. What you eat, and more importantly, how much you consume, may be the cause of a variety of health issues, including obesity, digestive issues, poor sleep, bloating, and exhaustion. The size of your fist, which is the size of your stomach, is the perfect size for your portion. Everything else, on the other hand, causes the stomach to expand in order to fit the quantity of food that is ingested. The majority of the food stays the same weight and size from the plate to the stomach, with the exception of green vegetables, which contain water and shrink after being chewed. To assist yourself, it is recommended that you use smaller plates and utensils for eating, as well as dishes that are not clear, since it has been proved that these dishes make it easier to consume larger amounts of food 2. Good chewing! around 20–30 times for a single meal. Chewing increases the amount of saliva and digestive enzymes that are exposed to the food that we are chewing. By doing so, digestive processes are facilitated, and bloating and indigestion are avoided completely. The act of putting the fork down after taking a mouthful is a simple method that enables one to take the time to chew thoroughly and to be present. 3. Eat each mouthful more slowly! Overeating or eating in large pieces causes food to not be digested and transferred into the colon, where it creates an environment that is conducive to indigestion, flatulence, and bacterial overgrowth. One of the most important processes of the digestive system is the process of breaking down food into small pieces and breaking it down sufficiently. 4. Be slow while you eat! At a minimum, your supper should take roughly thirty minutes to prepare. When you eat quickly, you are able to pack more food into your stomach, which causes you to feel “full” before you ever realize it. The time it takes for the brain to detect the chemicals that are present in the meal and determine whether or not you are full is twenty minutes. Actually, fullness is not the consequence of your stomach being full; rather, it is the result of your brain recognizing the chemicals that are present in the food. The level of chemicals rises ten to thirty minutes after eating and then begins to fall during the following three to five hours, resulting in a feeling of hunger (http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/stomach-full-stop-eating-3080.html) 5. Contrary to what most people believe, it is not a good idea to drink water while you are eating. As a result of the water, the stomach acid is diluted, which makes the digesting process more difficult. It is recommended that water be consumed thirty to forty minutes before or after meals. 6. Stay in the here and now! There is a possibility that you have found yourself wondering when you finished eating all of the popcorn or all of the ice cream. It is quite easy for us to lose track of what we are doing when we are not concentrating our complete attention on a single procedure. When we watch television or participate in conversation, it is quite usual for us to overeat or avoid chewing our food properly. If you maintain a high degree of awareness and concentrate all of your attention in one location, you will have relief from your stomach and experience advantages both in the short term and in the long term. Listening to some calming music as you eat might be an excellent approach to complement your meals without being distracted. 7. Eat in combinations that are beneficial to your health: greens (vegetables) go well with proteins (meat, fish, and eggs), and greens go well with carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice, cereals). It is not a good idea to consume carbohydrates (starches and fruits) and proteins at the same time since carbohydrates and fruits do not digest well together. Let at least two hours pass between each meal, and give yourself around three hours between your final meal of the day and retiring to bed at eight o’clock. eat at the designated times. Your body is able to recall the times for breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks, and it is able to mobilize its resources in preparation for these activities. That is to say, incorporating a certain amount of self-control and predictability into your way of life makes it simpler for the body to distribute resources and make use of them in order to achieve maximum functioning. 9. It is ideal to consume seasonal fruits and vegetables that have been freshly picked since they retain the highest levels of vitamins and minerals. Instead of consuming anything that has been processed, try eating anything that comes from the garden. The natural bacteria-killing properties of garlic and onions should not be avoided. Additionally, coconut oil and omega-3,-6,-9,-10 fatty acids should be used in place of manufactured fats. Give your stomach a break! If you believe that your digestive system may use some assistance, you might wish to consult with a medical professional or a nutritionist. It’s possible that if you take a closer look at the food you consume, your life will improve. In addition, probiotics are beneficial since they are beneficial living bacteria that contribute to the maintenance of a healthy gut and the enhancement of the digestive system. Although it is often believed that bacteria are harmful in general, the truth is that our bodies are home to both beneficial and harmful bacteria, and probiotics help to restore the proper balance of flora in your intestines. Website: http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/features/what-are-probiotics? 11. You should brush or clean your tongue. Our mouths are a breeding ground for a wide variety of harmful bacteria that are the consequence of digestion that occurs throughout the night. You may want to wipe your tongue with a scraper or brush before reintroducing this bacterium into your body. This will help prevent the germs from spreading (can be found online or at the pharmacy). Additionally, washing your mouth with coconut oil afterward helps erase the acidity, cleans even better, and has a pleasant taste and fragrance. For a continuing excellent start, I would suggest drinking a glass of warm water and lemon juice, both of which have a high alkaline ph 12 level. After waking up, you should brush your body for ten minutes (a big natural brush that can be found in body shops). In addition to allowing the skin to breathe more easily, renew, and have an ideal release of toxins, these will assist in the gentle removal of dead cells that have been expelled from your body throughout the night. After you’re done, take a shower. 13. Perform physical activity to improve the bulk of your muscles and to assist the body in becoming more alkaline. It is beneficial to cultivate love and a happy outlook since both of these things are alkaline:) 14. In addition to the daily activity, meditation as a practice is an excellent tool for managing the restless mind and achieving total wellness. The majority of the things that our bodies need may be manufactured from natural items that do not include any additions or chemicals. Mint, coconut oil, and soda may be used to make toothpaste, and it does not contain any aluminum. Similarly, sunscreen can be made using carrot juice and coconut oil rather than aluminum. It all comes down to how you live your life and how well you take care of yourself. Your body should constantly be asked how it feels after consuming a variety of substances, and you should make notes about what works best for you. There is something that is not functioning properly for you if you experience discomfort, feel fatigued, and have low energy after eating or drinking. You may need to read more about it, study more about it, or observe more about it.
