I am something of a newbie when it comes to the realm of fairy gardens. Throughout my youth and beyond, dollhouses and miniature figurines were my obsessions; yet, my lack of a green thumb has prevented me from pursuing this love in gardening. But ever since I received a gorgeous little container garden as a present, everything seems to have changed! The fairy garden with a wedding theme wasn’t just any gift—it was a bridal party member’s present. This summer, one of my closest friends married the love of her life, and for the celebration, they made handmade presents. Rather as the customary robe, glassware, or jewelry, the bride built each bridesmaid a personalized container fairy garden. I didn’t anticipate such a unique or kind gift—my friend wasn’t exactly a bridezilla, so she definitely didn’t need to win us over or make amends with gifts! The bride, Chelsea, clarified that making the tiny gardens was the most enjoyable gift-giving experience. For the first four bridesmaids, Chelsea had four identical containers. She worked on them like she was on an assembly line, adding stones, moss, and succulent micro plants after first filling the pots with dirt. You may add any small plants and garden accessories you think the friend would like, making a miniature garden turned wedding party present very personalized. Mine also had some cute bunnies, glittery pebbles, and a small toadstool. What made this unusual present stand out? The fairy bride and groom appeared, poised and prepared to say their vows. A little hedgehog is one of my favorite tiny additions to my new fairy garden. This garden companion is observing the wedding while carefully perched on a leaf. The reason the hedgehog has emotional value for me is because bride Chelsea and her new spouse have a hedgehog as a pet! The garden is made even more precious by this little creature as a memento of their recent small family. Arranging a small garden in a container is an excellent option for presents for the wedding party on both sides of the aisle. Groomsmen will enjoy playing with their gardens, particularly if they are customized to reflect each friend’s interests and hobbies. A groomsman could like a tiny garden with themes like sports, antique vehicles, a beach day, or even backyard barbecue. For those like myself who are not good at gardening, they may be very low-maintenance gardens if you choose to plant succulents or cactus in your containers. My three little succulents in my new yard need tender loving care, but I don’t have to worry about them too much. It will do OK with moderate sunshine and frequent watering. I’ve already made the decision to increase the enjoyment now that I have my very own little garden. My grandma gave me a collection of glass creatures, which I now hold. I carefully incorporated the turtles to the mix since they have always been her favorite and they fit with the backyard wilderness-wedding motif of my garden. I’m eager to start planting fairy gardens to give as presents in the future, gather additional little accessories, and observe the growth of the micro plants. To create charming small landscapes for containers or your yard, miniature gardening includes miniature trees, decorations, fairies, and furniture. The unique line of handmade stone fairy cottages from tiny gardening is intended for use in outdoor fairy gardens.
