They demand the lohri “loot” by going door to door. foods like peanuts, sesame (til), jaggery (gurh), seeds, and delectable desserts like rewri and gajak are examples of this. The “loot” of the lohri may also contain cash. A big bonfire is set in the front yards of homes and in the fields that have been harvested, making the Lohri evening even more enjoyable.
