As a result, bochinche, an Argentine restaurant that is uniquely distinct from its surroundings while still fitting in perfectly, came into being. the term “gossip” comes from the Latin American Spanish language, and bochinche is the word for it! A third, display kitchen experience is created over a bar-like countertop, allowing diners to have a full uninterrupted view of the cooking process. This is accomplished by cleverly manipulating the traditional shop-house architecture of the narrow space in order to accommodate the bar and the restaurant in defined areas. Dark wood paneling provides a contrast to the polished marble surfaces and complements the textured rattan cladding that is located on the front of the kitchen counter. This is a subtle hint to south east Asia that is included into the more conventional materials used in south American design. There is an abundance of vintage sideboards and cabinets that serve as storage options, which contribute to the old-world charm.
