Changing the way that people in the community think about and interact with women is one of the most important aspects of empowering women in India. The issue in India is that the society has never operated on the idea that people of both sexes are entitled to the same rights for a very long period. Atrocities and classism against women are a way of life in indian communities; it’s just the way things are. In certain parts of India, the mentality that holds that women are solely useful for taking care of children and doing home errands still persists. The veil program, child marriage, and the practice of dowry are all examples that support this assertion. In India, women have never been considered a part of the mainstream population, and many people still believe that they pose a significant risk. The precarious position of women in India may be seen all too clearly from a simple examination of the gender ratio. It comes up at a close second with about 933.
