I’M NOT REALLY INTO INDIAN FOOD

Recently, while I was leaving Royal India after having a wonderful lunch buffet, I overheard a woman saying to her friend, “I’m not really an Indian cuisine person.” I was going outside of the restaurant at the time. When her buddy responded, “Oh, but this buffet is great and offers something for everyone,” I couldn’t help but grin when I heard that saying. The partner of hers is correct! The lunch buffet at Royal India offers something for each and every customer. On the lunch buffet, you may find a wide selection of dishes, including fresh vegetables, salads, and a selection of different kinds of curries. When I was younger, I never imagined that I would love eating Indian cuisine, but boy, was I wrong. During my very first visit to the buffet, I came across a food from India that was named samosa. A samosa is a kind of pastry that may be baked or fried, and it is often filled with a savory filling that may include ground chicken, or beef, ground lamb, or spiced potatoes, onions, peas, and lentils. Despite the fact that their size and shape are not uniform, they are all triangular in shape. To say that they are excellent would be an understatement. They are a favorite appetizer in many nations. In addition to the other mouthwatering dishes on the buffet, the onion bhaji was the one that drew my attention. bhaji is a spicy Indian snack that is made out of a variety of different foods (in this case onions). As a topping for Indian cuisine or on their own, they are comparable to onion fritters and may be consumed in either capacity. In my opinion, they were delicious and reminded me of a sophisticated onion ring. However, the chicken tikka masala is yet another delicious meal. This is a meal that consists of pieces of roasted chicken swimming in a spicy masala sauce. In most cases, this sauce is orange in color, creamy, and flavored with spices. An Indian restaurant is said to have been the source of the meal’s beginnings; nonetheless, the British also like eating this dish. This dish is considered to be the main course and is served hot. I have to confess that my taste in cuisine has always been a little bit boring, but the lunch buffet at Royal India opened my eyes to the fact that there are a lot of different kinds of food and tastes that I could truly love. Moreover, there was dessert available on the buffet. a very sweet dessert known as gulab jamun, which, in my opinion, had the flavor of a little sweet donut that had been bathed in a sweet syrup. The excellent Indian cuisine that I found at Royal India is now one of my favorite things, and I am so happy that I had the opportunity to try this lunch buffet.
