REVIEW OF THE MOVIE ‘SKYFALL’ FEATURING THE CHARACTER JAMES BOND

Skyfall, James Bond’s 23rd adventure picture, more than makes up for the dog’s breakfast that was 2008’s quantum of solace. It’s not only the finest movie of 2012 so far, but it’s also one of the best Bond films ever made. Director Sam Mendes is aware of the elements of a great James Bond film: Mix a gallon of seductive appeal with two pints of fast automobiles and mix, don’t stir. As a garnish, add exciting action and a really menacing villain. millions are served by this recipe. Skyfall takes these facts and runs with them, incorporating every cliché from James Bond into a film as cunning as the main character in the series. The running time is the main point of contention, if there is one: With a running time of two and a half hours, Skyfall is a long enough film to test your bladder and attention span. Daniel Craig, reprising his role as Bond, makes a comeback as the character who survived a disastrous mission that leaves him gravely injured. But as contemporary politics would have it, the analog spy is having difficulty surviving in a world when computer hacking and cyberterrorism are commonplace. Traditional espionage seems out of place in the virtual world, and mi6 is being heavily criticized by the prime minister’s office for jeopardizing national security, feeling equally out of date. Even worse, a rabid ex-mi6 agent named Raoul Silva (played by Javier Bardem) is vengeful against the members of Her Majesty’s secret service, beginning with M, the head of Mi6 (played by Judy Dench). The scene is ready. Skyfall will be likened, and has been, to The Dark Knight Rises, for better or worse. This is the case for two reasons: first, they are massive financial successes with adored characters throughout the globe; second, they are action-packed movies with a somber, depressing outlook on crime in modern society. Having said that, despite its excitement, the latter part of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy was a grammatical disaster, with many errors, omissions, and irritating details throughout the final version. Skyfall delivers on the promises the Batman hype engendered, delivering enthusiasts and laypeople alike a picture with the polish and intellect that summer films frequently lack. Bond even remarks, There’s a storm coming. Even if that’s what we want in July, we are nonetheless lucky to get it right now. Many things in Skyfall are done well, and series mainstays are at their most enjoyable point in a while. The bond girl (Bernice Marlohe) is stunning and enigmatic, and Raoul Silva has emerged as a fan favorite because to his painful past and his carefree, giggling attitude to evil, which creates chaos and entertainment. Even while Bardem’s portrayal of the archetype seems a lot like the joker in The Dark Knight, it’s nevertheless distinctive and unforgettable in its own right. (The similarity is helpful.) To put it simply, Skyfall is an excellent action picture that pays attention to the craft of filmmaking. Considering how lackluster the bonds of the Brosnan age were (except from 1995’s Goldeneye), it’s astounding how effectively Skyfall functions. Believe the hype: this movie is a legendary beast that hits the perfect balance between powerful filmmaking and thrilling Hollywood productions. We eagerly await chapter 24, as the closing titles assure us that James Bond will return.
