MACMILLAN’S SUPPORT FOR TELEVISION COMPANY MOTORS

Through their participation in a “difficult road journey across the nation,” a British television production firm hopes to raise a total of $250,000 in behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support. The chairman of view tv group, jamie branson, is teaming up with his coworkers at only motors, a production firm that is a part of the view tv group, in order to drive from los angeles to new york along the historic route 66. The goal is to produce 12 different television shows in under 12 days. On September 21, 2014, the event, the concept of which was conceived by Branson, will get underway with a flight departing from London. After arriving in the United States, the team will travel throughout the continent of the stars and stripes, making daily stops to film a variety of television segments. According to branson, “this is without a doubt going to be a tough road journey across the United States.” but the results will be well worth it. Over the last several years, Macmillan has provided assistance to both my family and myself. Additionally, a number of other members of the team have benefitted from Macmillan’s assistance when they have lost relatives to cancer. As a result, each and every one of us felt driven to give money to charity that work to reduce the consequences of this fatal illness. The business owner continued by saying, “being in the media means we’re obviously able to raise awareness about cancer, and since we’re all about cars at just motors, we can do it in a manner that’s exciting and inventive.” Not just any automobile, but one that is powered by electricity will take us over the 4,000 miles of paved roads that we will be traveling on. The main challenge, however, will be finishing more than one hundred different filming scenarios while we are on the road and during our pit stops. The challenge has been broken up into 12 days, during which time the following towns and cities will be visited: The first day, September 21, was spent traveling from London to Los Angeles. The second day, September 22, was spent traveling from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The third day of September, we go from Las Vegas to Holbrook. Day 4 on the 24th of September: Traveling from Holbrook to Albuquerque Day 5 on the 25th of September: Traveling from Albuquerque to Amarillo The sixth day of September was spent traveling from Amarillo to Tulsa, and the seventh day of September was spent traveling from Tulsa to Springfield. 28th of September, Day 8: Travel from Springfield to St. Louis 29th of September, Day 9: Travel from St. Louis to Chicago 30th of September, Day 10: Travel from Chicago to Indianapolis Day 11 in the month of October 1: From Indianapolis to Pittsburgh Day 12 of the second week of October: From Pittsburgh to New York Please read http://onlymotors.com/route-66/ for the entire itinerary of each city that will be visited, including stop sites, local sights, and evening entertainment options.
