A tiny leisure house that has been planned and constructed mostly out of wood can be found in a rural location to the north of Utrecht in the Netherlands. This shot was compiled by Zoya Photography and is courtesy of the architect. A gable roof made of stone slate, a fireplace, a chimney, and a wood cladding made of western red cedar are the characteristics that define the typical cottage that is basic in form. On the other hand, the cottage is really exceptional due to the fact that it makes effective use of space, has distinctive elements, and demonstrates a high degree of workmanship. The cottage, which was finished by a special collaboration between the Dutch architecture studio Zecc and the interior designer Roel van Norel, blends into the landscape in a seamless manner by making use of its natural materials. Despite the fact that it has replaced an existing garden house, it has reused its foundation and existing contours. The asymmetrical head design, the details, and the inside are the areas that contribute to the refined design of this item. Along one of its long sides, the cottage is totally closed, but on the side that is next to it, it is somewhat translucent. The other two sides of the house are constructed out of glass and are enclosed inside a solid steel facade. These glass sides either open out to a garden or serve as a gateway, depending on the situation. The architects demonstrate a high level of architectural competence by including moveable window shutters into the cottage. These shutters can be positioned at various angles, allowing for entire, partial, or no natural light to enter the cottage. A straightforward layout with the kitchen in the front, with its amenities integrated into an oak wall; the plinth of the kitchen has also been cleverly designed as a drawer for maximum utilization of space; and the bedroom area at the back of the house makes the cottage compact in terms of spatial planning with a minimalist approach that does not take into account clutter. a straightforward and intelligent choice that lets you make the most of the breathtaking scenery whenever you want and provides a home-away-from-home that requires little to no upkeep.
