In 1953, Piet Derksen established Center Parcs as a family business. Piet, on the other hand, first made the decision to be a sports shop in Rotterdam, which is located in the Netherlands. It was after he had grown his company to the point where he had many enterprises throughout the Netherlands that he took the next step. He gradually added more and more camping items to his shop. After purchasing a field, he began renting out space to individuals along with tents. Because of this, he proceeded to construct villas on the park, which he also leased out, and the success of this endeavor continued to steadily increase. Centre Parcs has evolved into what it is now, a firm that operates over 20 parks throughout numerous nations in Europe. This transformation took place over the course of a few of decades.
