Anne Graham Lotz, Graham’s daughter, Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship, and Sid Roth, a television personality, are all of the opinion that Graham’s passing might be the “spark” that ignites a revival on a national and perhaps even a worldwide scale. In these days of universal apostasy, Christianity might very well benefit from a revival, and no one would be opposed to the movement of the Holy Spirit; nonetheless, it is far more probable that the church will be focused rather than extended in the coming years. As the predictions of the previous day are being realized in a manner that has never been seen before in the history of the world, lines are being drawn in every aspect of human effort. Educators are either completely secularized or completely receptive to the realities that are found in the Bible. In the political sphere, politicians have shifted their allegiance to either the right or the left, and churches have become either completely conservative and founded on the Bible or completely liberal and apostate. Immorality and depravity are contributing to the apostasy that is occurring inside the world’s churches. In the West, there are certain churches that are really turning up everything, even their physical property, to the process of Islamization. Anyone who was alive during the last global war and saw England and London’s resistance to the massive assault of the Nazis would find it astonishing to read headlines such as the following: “London Closes 500 Churches While Opening 423 New Mosques” The church that is continuing to adhere to the principles of the Bible and the fundamental message of the gospel seems to be getting ready to embrace the impending arrival of the full assault of the antichrist and his persecution of those who are loyal. The prospect of a surge in numbers is probably not in line with the current fall and apostasy in the church, despite the fact that they are becoming more focused, intense, and completely biblical. It is also important to consider the growing persecution of the church in dozens of countries throughout the globe. There is no indication of a resurgence in the following headlines; rather, they are evidence of a significant fall. Only a cross section is included in this list. Clergy members gathered to ‘bless’ a facility that does late-term abortions and said that abortion staff members work for the ‘glory’ of God. Truth be told, as we get closer to the end of the world, God will do actions that are typical of the end of the world. Despite the fact that the time for evangelism on a global scale is drawing to a close, God has devised a fresh strategy to deal with the significant decline that will occur in the latter days. According to our current understanding, there are three distinct ways in which God interacts with the world in the most recent few years of time. 1. “And it will come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And likewise upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (2:28-29 in the book of Joel) 2. “And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for a thousand two hundred and threescore days while they are dressed in sackcloth,” the Lord said. These are the two candlesticks and the two olive trees that are standing in front of the God who created the world. And in the event that any individual is able to do them harm, fire will flow from their mouths and consume their adversaries; and if any individual is able to cause them harm, he must be slain in this way. These have the ability to keep the heavens closed, so that it does not rain during the days that they have prophesied; they also have the ability to transform the seas into blood, and they have the ability to strike the earth with all kinds of plagues, whenever they want. Revelation 11:3-6 3. “And I saw another angel flying in the middle of heaven, carrying the eternal gospel to preach to those who live on earth, as well as to every nation, and tribe, and language, and people,” the Bible says. Saying with a loud shout, Fear God, and give praise to him; for the hour of his judgment has come: and worship him that created heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the springs of waters.” Revelation 14:6-7 These verses do not give the impression that a new and powerful evangelist is going to appear on the scene; rather, they point to a progression of steps that God will take in order to meet the fiery days of indignation that will sweep across the globe in the days leading up to the final judgment of our planet. To begin, we see an outpouring of the Spirit of God on “every flesh,” which literally means “every single person.” The Holy Spirit will descend onto those who do not believe in order to try to draw them into the fold, and it will descend upon those who do believe in order to enable them to preach, live, and die if necessary in order to spread his message to a world that is dying. Subsequently, we see that God sent two mighty prophets with the message that the time has come to end. They will not be warmly accepted, and some people will want to eliminate them before they have completed their mission, but their efforts will be in vain. No other evangelist has ever been able to achieve the same level of success as these two, and each and every one of their actions will be seen and heard all over the world, despite the fact that they never leave the city of Jerusalem. For those individuals who continue to debate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the two prophets will put an end to that debate for all time. They are going to be put to death, and then three and a half days later, they are going to be resurrected in front of the eyes of the whole world. (7–12 of the Bible) Third, we observe that God’s kindness is extended right up to the very last fraction of a second. God will send a heavenly voice, which is an angel, to broadcast his message of kindness across the planet for the very final time. This will occur after the two prophets have been taken from their positions and all of the Christians have been eliminated or subjugated. The fact that God’s love for humanity is unwavering right up to the very end of time is shown by these three portents more than anything else. When Jesus said, “Even so, it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should die,” this is another evidence that Jesus was serious about what he was saying. [Matthew 18:14] The goal to hope and pray for revival in the United States of America and across the globe is, without a doubt, a good and desirable aspiration; but, it may just be an expense. The events that are taking place right now certainly do not call for regeneration but rather judgment. In the future, the church will be placed in a situation that is far more analogous to the situation of Daniel in the lion’s den or the three young Jewish men in the burning furnace, as well as many other instances of the people of God being subjected to severe testing and persecution. In order to better prepare people who have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ through the fire or the flood, these instances have served as our most effective lessons and warnings. The character of the next move that God will make in the earth has been fashioned by God in order to cater to the profound decrease in godlessness that is occurring all throughout the world. His subsequent action will not be completely recognized as a revival; rather, it will be more of an intervention, and it will be accompanied by miraculous occurrences, pastors who are out of the ordinary, and the millennial kingdom on the other side.
