Due to the fact that the Messianic predictions (the first coming of Christ) are accurate one hundred percent of the time, neglecting the premillennial prophesies (the second coming of Christ) is the single most outrageous mistake that has ever been made in the history of humanity. This would include the church as well as anybody else who disregards these warnings without reasonable consideration. When it comes to the question of which is more terrible, it is comparable to discovering that there is no exit door available when someone cries fire in a crowded room, or conversely, having someone point to a door that does not lead out of the burning building. Both of these scenarios are extremely unfortunate. There is no way out of this predicament. There are three primary reasons why certain churches in the modern day would not engage in serious lectures on the biblical prophesies of the second coming. One of the things that causes an excessive amount of dread is the image of terrible disasters and harsh judgments. 2. There are some individuals who do not want anything to make the status quo unstable because they are content with the way things are. 3. To fully comprehend the nature of the second coming prophecy, one must engage in extensive research and possess a strong sense of discernment. In the text, answers may be found to all three of the problems that have been raised with the concepts of the second coming. Fear: “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; only the spirit of power, and the spirit of love, and the spirit of a sound mind.” (1 Timothy 1:7) The Current State of Affairs: “And asking, Where is the promise of his coming? because ever since the fathers fell asleep, everything has continued as it was from the beginning of creation,” the Bible says. (2 Peter 3:4) 4 Serious Study: “Study to present thyself acceptable unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, correctly dividing the word of truth,” says the Bible. (2 Timothy 2:15) It is true that we live in a world that is filled with a great deal of confusion, where perversion has become fashionable and the day of evil is drawing near in a manner that provokes fear; however, this is the most important reason to approach the scriptures with caution and with a great deal of seriousness. The Lord encourages us to have a constructive attitude toward the upheavals and signs that are occurring in the latter days. An example of this would be the following: “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and raise up your heads; for your salvation draweth so near.” It is written in Lu 21:28. Overcoming the Limits of Jonah and Ezekiel The church’s failure to take the prophecy of the second coming seriously results in a significant loss for a world that is wracked with sin and is on the verge of death. When it comes to the dissemination of end-time prophesies and warnings, we can observe that the majority of Christians adhere to one of three distinct methods. Even though they are all extremely human, only one of them may be said to be applicable to the church in the modern day. It was Jonah, the prophet, who fled from the Lord. Due to the fact that he was not very effective, he was ultimately forced to go back in order to carry out the instructions of the Lord and warn the people of Nineveh. As a result of their contrition, they were spared, which serves to emphasize how foolish it is to oppose the dissemination of God’s word to any people. “But Jonah got up to escape to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and he went down to Joppa; and he saw a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the freight of that ship, and climbed down into it, to depart with them to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD,” the Bible proclaims. (Jon First: 3) Ezekiel was not like other people. Additionally, a severe warning was sent to the prophet in conjunction with the warnings that were given to Israel. It is written that “when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt certainly die; and thou givest him warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his evil course, to spare his life; the same wicked man will die in his wickedness; but his blood will I demand at thine hand,” the Bible says. (Proverbs 3:18) Christians are obligated to communicate the gospel, the promises, and the specifics of Christ’s return in a manner that is far more serious. Not only is it a notion, but it is also a demand. In what is often referred to as the “great commission,” Jesus added a request to proclaim all that he said; we are not permitted to cherry pick simply the portions of his message that pique our attention. The Bible says, “Teaching them to obey all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Amen. According to Matthew 28:20 The teaching of the second coming is included included in the “all things” that Christ taught. In the life of the Apostle Paul, who declared these words as he was getting closer and closer to the end of his life and ministry, we find a wonderful example of someone who fulfilled this mandate. “And now, behold, I know that not a single one of you, among whom I have gone proclaiming the kingdom of God, will ever again see my face. And it is for this reason that I take you to record this day, that I am free from the blood of all mankind. For I have not avoided the opportunity to explain to you all the wisdom that God has given me. verses 25-27 of Acts 20 The issue of whether a false prophesy or no prophecy is more dangerous is irrelevant; none of these two can ever be considered acceptable. In the event that folks believe that you have become foolish as a result of your haste over the coming of Christ, you should not be afraid. You are now residing in the United States of America, which is often regarded as the hub of ridiculousness. The United States of America is the only country in the world where millions of people believe it is OK to murder sixty million unborn infants and approve laws that allow the marriage of two men. A former speaker of the House of Representatives is serving as a judge in a drag queen competition, and at the same time, the legislature of California is considering a law that would put someone in jail for giving out a straw in a fast food restaurant. This is something that can only happen in the United States of America. On the more practical side of things, after fifty years of studying, teaching, and preaching the gospel and the idea of the second coming, I have realized that John 3:16 always appears to have more punch when it is appended with John 5:25. This is something that I have learnt. The tumultuous changes that are occurring on a daily basis have caused people to have a more heightened awareness of the unpredictability that exists in the world today. The world is in a frenzy, and for the first time, the possibility of a nuclear war is being considered. Give it a go. In the process of preaching the gospel with those who are hesitant, it is proved that if you include the warnings and specifics of Christ’s return in your message, you will have a greater number of answers from a greater number of individuals.
