While we were searching for fresh approaches to share the gospel, the world underwent a transformation. During a recent trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, this writer had the opportunity to attend the 25th Annual National Conference on Christian Apolegetics that was hosted by the Southern Evangelical Seminary. My old pastor, Dr. Richard Land, who is now the President of SES, was the one in charge of the event they were hosting. In addition to having one of the most significant influencers in my life, Dr. Land is a friend and a Christian brother who cares deeply for his followers. At the stunning Calvary Church Campus in Charlotte, over seventy of the most gifted theologians and apologetics in the United States of America delivered speeches. Only a few of them were heard by us before we went on a tour of the new campus of SES and the Billy Graham Library. Ravi Zacharias, Josh McDowell, Frank Turek, and Chip Ingram were among the individuals that moved our hearts by their performances. While a significant portion of what was said was insightful and compelling, it was Frank Turek who made a comment that stayed with me for a number of days after I heard it. During the time when Turek was contemplating new approaches to preach and defend the gospel to members of the “Millennials” and the “Z” generation, he came to the realization that the world has undergone revolutionary transformations. Not only has the church been falling into apostasy all across the world, but the new megachurches and the new theology have also contributed to the weakening of the church. This is happening at the same time as the evil that exists in our world has been growing at an exponential rate. It is not due to the fact that the apolegetics of the past or the future are useless; rather, it is due to the fact that we have entered a new world in which no one is listening, and even worse, no one is really concerned about anything. The evidence of the gospel that is the subject of apolegetics is irrelevant to a world that is afflicted with sin and on the verge of death. Apolegetics is still highly significant and powerful, but the audience is decreasing for all of the obvious reasons. All of these reasons are evident. What are the obvious reasons, and more importantly, what is the alternative that may be considered? The fact that people do not comprehend the unchanging character of God is the primary reason why the evidence of the gospel are neglected in today’s world. Every moment, the world is in a state of perpetual change. Individuals have the misconception that cognition is intended to “develop” in the same way that they believe we are changing on a physical level, which is obviously not the case. However, man is unchanging; the hearts of men are the same from the very first day to the very last day of their lives. (Genesis 6:30) God is also unchanging; he has already said what he expects from people, and he will not alter his expectations in the future. 19 of the New Testament In other words, time is running out for what we now refer to as the age of grace or the dispensation of grace, which is why the alternative to a fresh apologetic thrust is a need that has been created out of time. The only thing that remains is the actualization of the prophesy. There are just a few components of pre-millennial predictions that have yet to come down. Most of the predictions made before to the millennial generation are coming true in this generation. Theology and apolegetics are being replaced by prophesy, right? Prophecy, in point of fact, makes up for all that exists in our world, including the history of man as we know it. As a result of the fact that prophecies take the place of the majority of things, it is also indicative that God will bring out new sorts of messengers. They are going to arrive with the spirit and power of the ancient prophets, in addition to a great deal more. Ministries similar to those led by Billy Graham will eventually give way to the two witnesses that are revealed in the eleventh chapter of Revelation. This article, which is titled “Graham is Gone – Are the Two Power Prophets Next?,” describes how the lines that are being drawn today in all areas of human endeavor serve to strengthen the fulfillment of prophetic events. The article also discusses the fact that the two power prophets are the next in line. Each and every aspect of the social spectrum, including politics, education, and morality, may be classified as either on one side or the other. It is because of this that the world is ready. In point of fact, those who fail to educate the church and warn the world about the catastrophes that will occur in the latter days are failing. In this day and age, the church does not need itself to be preoccupied with business as usual. It is said that “but just as the days of Noe were, so will also the coming of the Son of man be.” Because just as in the days that preceded the flood, they were feasting and drinking, getting married and giving in marriage, right up until the day when Noe entered the ark, and they did not know until the flood came and carried them all away, so will the coming of the Son of man seem to them. 37–39 of Matthew 24 Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
