Prophecy makes up around one fourth of the pages of the Bible. Some of the prophesies are connected to the history of Israel, while others are associated with the first coming of Christ (Messianic), as well as his death and resurrection. The remaining portions of prophecy are concerned with the second coming of Christ. The term “pre-millennial” is sometimes used to refer to these predictions since they span the time period immediately before the commencement of the one thousand year reign that Christ will have over the earth, which will begin immediately after his return. God has made a promise that he will pour forth his Spirit in the days leading up to his second coming, and that the knowledge of his near return will spread throughout the church and, in some ways, over the whole world. There are now more books, sermonic material, and evangelists and pastors preaching on the subject of the second coming than there have ever been before in the history of the world. (2:28-30) in the book of Joel Today is finally arrived! On a daily basis, these views are reinforced on the basis of current occurrences. As a result of Israel’s decision to relocate its capital to Jerusalem in 1948, the country’s return to its homeland has been significantly strengthened. Add to that the fact that Iran and Russia have formed an alliance in order to fulfill the many predictions found in Ezekiel 37 and 38, and all that remains for us to do is wait and see what tomorrow may bring. In light of the fact that these significant portents are of the utmost significance to each and every individual on the planet, Satan, the adversary, has likewise switched into high gear in order to prevent the acknowledgment of the prophetic. Things that he is unable to conceal from the general public, he will make an effort to obfuscate and confound. Some of the methods and means that he employs are as follows: Those who teach that good times are on the horizon and that the majority of prophesy should be disregarded are known as false prophets. The Naming of Dates – Never fails, there will always be some who try to figure out the day and time of his return, despite the fact that Jesus Christ made it quite clear that no one would be able to pinpoint the day or the hour of his return. [Matthew 24:36] a lack of clarity on the interpretation of prophesies – Private interpretations (2 Peter 1:20) and disagreement that causes some individuals to just dismiss the whole topic out of disbelief Preterism is the inaccuracy of teaching that all of the prophecies found in the Bible have already been fulfilled. The worries of this life and the day-to-day activities of mankind are utilized to simply put the understanding and the urgency of the prophetic warnings out of view. This is an example of apathy. (Revelation 25:1-13) Because the events of the second coming are replete with judgments and the loss of life on a magnitude that has never been seen before, it simply seems simpler for some people to put it all out of view and go on without a concern. Fear is the reason for this. (20 minutes of Mr. 13) The promise of Christ’s return is communicated in hundreds of highly serious predictions; nevertheless, not everyone takes them seriously. As a result, we hear terminology such as “prophecy buff” and “prophecy enthusiast” being used as if it were a trivial pastime on the same level as bird watching or motorcycling. Prophecy is not a fad that should be addressed in the same manner as the most recent distraction from popular culture. To put it simply, it is the way by which God prepares his church, which consists of believers, to face the difficulties that will precede the most tumultuous days on earth. Matthew 24:21 To be prepared is a mandate that Christ has given to all Christians. Matthew 24:44 Students and academics alike who research the idea of the second coming are sometimes referred to as “conspiracy theorists,” which is maybe the harshest epithet that has ever been given to them. There is no such thing as “Christian conspiracy theorists,” contrary to what is said in an article that was published on Express, a website in the United Kingdom that published an item with the subject “End of the world: Christians think THESE the signs of the apocalypse?” 11th of May, 2018. There is no agreement among Christians on biblical prophecy, and there is no such thing as a theory regarding prophecy. To prophecy, history is already written down. There has never been a time when it was incorrect, and regardless of whether or not man intervenes or does not believe, it will certainly take place just as it is written. We are living in the future of pre-millennial prophecy. Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org. The website showcases the writings and reports of Reverend Bresciani, in addition to those of some of the most talented authors and journalists in the United States.
