Many people in the United States, particularly Christians, are now having a difficult time comprehending the heinous massacre that took place at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, which was attended by worshipers. This writer, with the assistance of two individuals I know, was finally able to understand this as something more than simply another act of terrorism. This is despite the fact that it is not anything that can bring back a single person, nor can it ease all of the anguish that the injured are experiencing. During an interview with Matt Barber, a former associate dean of Liberty Law School and publisher of the “Barbwire” website, Dr. Gordon James Klingenschmitt, a former military chaplain who hosts a website and full-scale ministry called “Pray in Jesus Name,” (PIJN), conducted a video that sheds significant light on the shooting. After all of the reports of the carnage, the motives, the background of the shooter, the reactions of the community, the visits from leaders, and the usual call by the Democrats for more gun control, a clear voice with an explanation that can help us understand what this terrible tragedy really means has finally emerged. Early in the film Matt Barber argues that since the gunman, Devon Patrick Kelley, was driven by nothing more than atheism the killings of 26 people implies they were martyrs. This is the indisputable crux of the matter. Atheism, in its whole, has its origins in the spirit of antichrist. An unseen anti-force that has been standing in opposition to God ever since the beginning of time is the driving force behind atheist. The assertion is a complete and utter folly that masquerades as a philosophical postulation that is founded on intellect and reason. Despite this, there is no logic to it. Declaring that God does not exist is only a position; nevertheless, when such viewpoints are put into practice, they become stupidity. It is always unwise to spend time arguing against something that does not exist. But when it is subjected to violent acts, it transforms into the antichrist. Without a doubt, the act of murdering another person because they have faith in God can only be classified as a hate crime; it does not solve the problem of determining whether or not God exists. If godlessness has finally reached the point where it can carry out a jihad in the name of a god that does not exist, then it has finally reached its goal. Only a demon could inspire such wicked reasoning. It makes no difference to the spirit of antichrist, often known as Satan, whatsoever confusion you are led to act while under. During acts of jihad, Muslims murder non-believers in the mistaken belief that they are trying to appease a God that they have never encountered. The following is an example: “They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time comes, that whoever kills you will think that he is doing God service.” 2. (John 16:2) When those who are certain that God does not exist go on to murder other people in the name of their lack of belief, confusion takes on a new level. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Satan is known as the “arch-deceiver.” Each and every one of Kelley’s victims falls under the category of martyrs because they were motivated by a belief that antichrist was wrong and, more often than not, the spirit of antichrist, which is a demonic entity. In the grand scheme of things on God’s end, they are among the most honorable, and they will continue to be so throughout eternity. In actuality, God bestows onto them something that no other person will ever possess. It has earned the nickname “Crown of the Martyr” throughout the years. “Do not be afraid of the things that you will endure; behold, the devil will put some of you in prison so that you can be tested; and you will go through a period of tribulation for ten days; be faithful until the end of your life, and I will give you a crown of life.” Revelation 2:10 We are able to draw enormous strength from the untimely deaths of those who were slain and injured in the church in Texas because they are true martyrs. There are numerous lessons that may be learned from their deaths. Already, wonderful testimonials are starting to pour in, which will serve to educate and motivate more people. One such tragedy comes from Joe Holcombe who lost nine members of his family spanning a whole three generations of relatives, including a pregnant mother and her un-born kid, Joe said… “Of course, it is going to be challenging,” he said in an interview with The Washington Post. But “we are Christians, we have read the Bible. We are aware of the conclusion, and it goes well…. They have arrived in paradise, and their situation is far more favorable than ours. Joe also said, “We’re strong, We’ll be with Bryan and his wife and the entire family one of these days — and we look forward to it.” This statement was included in a story that was published in Stream and was headlined “Couple Loses 9 Members of Their Family, But Has Not Wavered in Their Faith.” These are the kinds of statements that are coming out of the faithful, and they are the righteous output of people who are inspired by the ultimate sacrifice that the martyrs of First Baptist Lutheran Church in Sutherland, Texas, made. When the Apostle Paul was speaking about the terrible deaths that the martyrs had endured, he appended his lecture on that topic with this absolutely astounding evaluation. In Hebrews 11:38a, it is said, “Of whom the world was not worthy.” Regardless of how we feel about the people who were killed in this awful incident, there is one thing that is very clear: our world is not worthy of these martyrs. They are, were, and always will be God’s finest in this current bad world. “Thank you, those who are blessed. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, said the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their deeds do follow them.” Revelation 14:13) Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
