Should we conclude that the United States of America is continuing in a downward trend? Without delving into an opinion piece that is a vortex of impossible questions and solutions that are unlikely to be given, the straightforward response would be yes. Over the course of many decades, the United States of America has been experiencing a decline; but, under the presidency of Barack Obama, the country was almost on its way to liberal hell in a handbasket. Since the midterm elections in 2018, it has been more apparent than ever before that many are reluctant to join the Trump bandwagon. There are a few positives, such as the fact that there is still time to drive critical legislation through the house up to the third of January 2019, and the fact that the majority in the Senate was won by the opposition. Due to the fact that they represent a guarantee of a lengthy and uphill struggle for both conservatives and the President, the list of negative reasons is quite extensive. Check it out. Jared Polis, the first out homosexual governor in the history of the United States, was elected of Colorado. It was previously unimaginable that the LGBT agenda would get such a boost as it has today. As a result of the success of proposition 1 in the midterm elections of 2018, marijuana is now legal across the whole state of Michigan. In spite of the fact that it is not permitted to be smoked in public or while driving, people of all ages are now able to buzz blissfully into mind-pause whenever they choose. Stoned in a country that is on the verge of collapse is not an optimistic indicator of a new America, and it is not even close to being near to the old America. In spite of the fact that she was caught red-handed in lying about her lineage, Elizabeth Warren was able to win the election in Massachusetts. In the past, senators were impeached for telling such lies; nevertheless, in today’s America, it is these lies that help them win elections. At this point, Nancy Pelosi is going to make another attempt to become Speaker of the House, but even Democrats are skeptical about her chances of succeeding. Even at the very least, it is a foreshadowing of ominousness. Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat, earned her sixth victory, allowing her to maintain her seating in the Senate. Oh, the bliss! Should we start praying that she does not act in a way that might spark a riot? During her victory celebration in Michigan’s 13th district, Rashida Tlaib, a Muslim who is a Democrat and a member of Congress, draped a Palestinian flag over her head. Shouldn’t the thirteenth district be considered part of the United States of America? Should someone point out to her that she is flying the incorrect flag? As a result of the Democrats’ failure to win control of the upper chamber of the Senate, Fox News asserts that the advances made in the House of Representatives are more akin to fool’s gold than they are to the actual thing. In spite of what is being claimed, the path that leads up to the year 2020 will be challenging and fraught with upheaval. There are three extremely significant factors that may be determined based on the results of the midterm elections in 2018. 1. There has been an increase in the number of people in the United States who believe that behavior such as encouraging sexual depravity, getting high, harming newborns, and liberal ideology are completely acceptable. They were all democratic voters. 2. As a result of a mixture of desire, laziness, and apostasy, the evangelicals and the church in general have become nothing more than a powerless force. There is no doubt that the day of evil is drawing near. (The Bible, 16:4) 3. This country, which was established on the principles of the Bible and the sound advice of preachers and prophets, has, for the very first time in our history, given in to a deafness that will lead to their downfall as unquestionably as the compass points to the north. This paragraph, particularly after the midterm elections, epitomizes the current state of affairs in the United States of America: “But to what generation may I compare this generation? The situation is comparable to that of youngsters who are sitting in the marketplaces and crying out to their peers. “And saying, We have piped vnto you, but you have not danced; we have wept unto you, but you have not lamented,” were the words that were said. Matthew 11:16–17). Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
