An Appeal to Royalty for the Generation That Has Never Been Seen Before As of right now, the majority of people would agree that we are the greatest generation in the history of the world. We are well-informed, self-assured, and prepared to carry the whole kit and caboodle to nearby galaxies and stars with the assistance of science and our newly discovered enlightenment. The contemporary perspective that is based on the Bible is completely different. There is a warning in the Bible that the generation that will come after us will experience a big breakdown, which they will interpret as a great breakthrough. The intellect of moderns have already begun to chart a route to the stars, but the morals of moderns will be falling into the depths of depravity as they continue to progress. This may be a prophesy. This is the pre-written history of humanity that has been handed to us by the one who fashioned us from the dust. It does not apologize, and it does not ask for anyone’s opinion. It is not that the Bible is anti-science that causes us to be troubled; rather, it is because it denies that nothing, including science, would be able to raise us out of or up to such exalted ideals before we tumble into our own doom. Two things that men of all times refuse to acknowledge are found in the Bible, yet history contradicts their interpretations of the text. The Bible is the source of our identity; it proclaims that we are all sinners, not fools, and that this is the thing that causes us the greatest difficulty. In spite of the fact that we are striving for the skies, we are prisoners to our own body. We undertake the lengthy journey into the skies, yet we are not able to attain the grandeur that God has for us. When it comes to the glory of God, “because all have sinned and fallen short of it” (Ro 3: 23) We are confined by the Bible, which states that we are all “prisoners of the earth.” (La 3: 33-34) Christ does not go to other planets in the galaxy or the cosmos in order to collect the souls of mankind when he returns for the second time. It is the only planet that humans have ever been granted authority over, and he arrives there. Revelations 1:26-28 What may occur if we stopped asking our historians and other people to choose which generation might be considered the greatest generation in the history of the world? Is it possible that we might leave that question to the Creator and come to the conclusion that his summary would be sufficient? Check it out. After taking a glance around, Jesus posed the following question to a gathering of individuals: “To what standards can I measure this generation…” Mark 11:16 New International Version His statement that they were a generation that would not listen to or pay attention to the message that he had come to deliver to them came after he had asked the question for the first time. The fact that this is the case poses still another issue. In this day and age of liberalism, atheism, and the absence of God in secular society, where do we stand if his generation was consciously refusing to listen? Nonetheless, in another portion of the scriptures, Jesus describes his own age in a much more detailed manner; however, this is not a vision that is very positive. “A generation that is evil and adulterous is looking for a sign, and there will be no sign given to it other than the sign that the prophet Jonas will give that generation.” As he left them, he went his own way. (Matthew 16:4) Following that, Jesus responded and said, “O generation that is both unbelieving and wicked, for how much longer will I be with you?” How much longer am I going to put up with you? Please bring him over here to me. [Matthew 17:17] The people of Jesus’ day were portrayed by him as being evil, adulterous, faithless, and bizarre. Currently, there is just one question that is straightforward yet very significant. In the event that this is how Christ characterized his generation, what would he say about ours exactly? The Apostle Paul, in his pastoral epistle to Timothy, presented a description of our time that was accurate to the letter. It was his prediction that the most recent generation would be the worst. Please take note of this, however: the latter days will be filled with awful situations. Rather than being lovers of God, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, lacking self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God when they have a form of godliness but deny its power. “Do not interact with individuals of this kind.” Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:1–5 The reason why this text is considered to be one of the most striking prophetic passages in the New Testament is due to the fact that it portrays our current generation in such a flawless manner. This current generation is comprised of individuals who are falling while they are under the impression that they are ascending. They have been the result of years of gradual allowances, and they are ready to blossom and yield the fruit of their bitterness. In the midst of the most severe deterioration that humanity will ever experience, the fact that there is a route out of the dark generation is an incredible demonstration of the unending and tremendous compassion and grace of the Living God. Any person on this planet has the ability to emancipate themselves from the worst generation and join the greatest generation that the world will ever know if they are willing to do a straightforward act of humility and remorse. The transformation from darkness to light is something that can only be accomplished by the beautiful regenerative power and love of God to itself. Are you going to answer His call? The Bible says, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a special people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” (Philippians 2:9) Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
