It is difficult to conceive of a group of anti-Semites sitting in a country that is associated with Israel and working so diligently to bring about the national destruction of that independent nation. However, this is the United Nations, a harmless group of people who believe in a single world, who are largely supported by the taxpayers of the United States, who disregard the Bible, who are devoid of any prophetic knowledge, and who are unaware of the plan that God has for his very special people, the Jews. “The shot heard round the world” is a phrase that has been invented to describe the moment when the British and the Minutemen met at Lexington. This event changed history. Not since then has there been anything like to that; yet, wait a moment – now there is President Obama’s parting shot against the country of Israel, which is our most powerful friend in the Middle East. Despite the fact that it is so vulgar, this is also history. As a result of his labeling all of us as angry citizens who carry guns and adhere to the Bible, Mr. Obama has kept loyal to his character. Because of his final act of disdain for our history and heritage, he called for our representative to the United Nations to abstain from voting. This effectively places Israel at the mercy of the rest of the world, which is a world that has even less knowledge of the prophetic destiny of Israel than our outgoing president does. But the Bible says that countries make history based on their ignorance and rejection of the prophetic message of the bible. We think that history is produced entirely by nations playing out their role in a developing world. However, scripture says that nations create history themselves. When politics and prophesy come into conflict, the unchanging rule is that politics will always come out on the losing end. The predetermined will and counsel of the Living God is what is known as prophecy, and it is impossible for mortals to change it. Instances are abundant. The global community has the belief that it will eventually get at a point when, through the application of discourse and a little bit of wishful thinking, we will all be able to sit down and talk our way into world peace. The Bible is not so full of naiveté and it reveals the harsh reality to us. It is inevitable that men will continue to engage in warfare and conflict until the day when Christ returns to our history. (Mark 13:7) A The fact of the matter is that in addition to the wars and rumors of war that are taking place all over the world, there will be a final attempt by a number of Arab nations to attack Israel, which will be a complete and utter failure, and there will be a final gathering of all the armies of the world in what is commonly referred to as the battle of Armageddon. At the conclusion of that struggle, each and every one of the individuals who took part in it will be completely eradicated. In the meantime, we can only hope that after the inauguration of President-elect Trump, he will take whatever measures are necessary to rectify the infamous vote of the United Nations. This may include defunding the organization in order to prevent them from interfering with our relationships with our allies. When we are forced to listen to the statement made by the Chief Rabbi of the Sephardic community, Yitzhak Yosef, that the United States of America has abandoned Israel and that they must now stand alone with the assistance of God alone, it is a sad day. Despite the fact that this is certainly sufficient, it does not say much about our reliability in the eyes of the rest of the world, and it says volumes about the worst presidential administration in the whole history of our country. The “Two State Solution” is a pipe dream of countries who are at war with one another and are experiencing difficulties. These nations need to look much closer to the disaster that is on their own doorstep. The whole world will be plunged into peace, but not until the legitimate king, the Lord Jesus Christ, arrives to claim his throne. If all of this seems gloomy, there is no need to despair; the world will be blessed with peace.
