I have been researching the topic of biblical prophecy for exactly fifty years, and this year marks the halfway point of that journey. At the same time that I have seen some of the most effective biblical expositors on this topic emerging to assist in guiding Christians, I have also witnessed some of the most ineffective ones. One thing I can say with absolute confidence is that the majority of the things that are being questioned here, with the exception of the hoopla around September 23 and other astronomical happenings, are exactly what Jesus said they would be in Matthew’s narrative about them. This is the beginning of all the hardships that are to come. (8th verse of Matthew 24) Astronomical events are a leap into hyper-interpretation, but natural disasters, famines, disease, earthquakes, wars, and rumors of war are all examples of natural disasters that are considered to be real warnings. A hazardous crossing over from astronomy to astrology, which is explicitly banned in the Bible, involves using signs in the stars to support biblical prophecy. This is not just a mistake, but it is also a crossing over that is harmful. There will come a day when the moon will be a blood crimson color and the sun will completely disappear from the sky; nevertheless, this is the ultimate omen that indicates that interventional judgments are about to take place. The consequence of that tremendous portent is beyond anyone’s ability to imagine; the events that are taking place in the present day are in no way comparable to those days. There are a lot of prophets on YouTube, and there are also a lot of panic and date setting. That being said, a word of caution is long overdue when it comes to matters of this kind. Nobody has ever provided a date for any of the events that took place on the previous day, and there will never be any. On the other hand, my Father is the only one who is aware of that day and hour. Not even the angels of heaven are aware of it. [Matthew 24:36] Festivities and Feasts of the Jewish People The practice of aligning the Jewish feasts and holy days with the prophesy of the previous day is another tendency that has recently gained popularity. In the same vein as the tetrads and the red moons, they are forms of speculation and hype. Regarding the events that the prophets said would take place in the latter days and the following arrival of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no component of eschatology that requires or requires us to utilize them as signs to confirm what they have predicted. Those individuals who believe that the links have to be taken into consideration are really avoiding a very dangerous mistake. It is possible that they will hit a few, and there is a possibility that certain coincidences may work in their favor, but in the end, they will be caught with their pants down. It is imperative that we keep in mind that ever since Christ entered our world, we have been immersed in a New Covenant. The Jewish customs, rituals, and holy days became a thing of the past when the curtain of the Temple was torn from top to bottom (Matthew 27:51) at the time that Jesus was killed. These things should never be utilized to make predictions about the future. The tactics and indications of the former dispensation are not used by God in order to accomplish something new. God is a God who moves ahead and is able to reveal his plans for today without relying on the signals of yesterday. He is a God who moves forward. What about emergencies like as storms, earthquakes, warfare, and other such calamities? There is a portion of prophecy that encompasses the abundance of natural and manmade catastrophes, as well as war and other forms of catastrophe. Christ sent a warning that the frequency and severity of these occurrences would rise as the last hours of time draw near. It is essential to take note of the increase in these items since they are indicators of impending danger. According to what was said before, they are “The beginning of grief.” Those who adopt the mindset that there will be absolutely no significant changes in the future are, in fact, a part of the prophesy. Despite the fact that their world will be turned upside down all around them, the world will be blissfully oblivious of what is happening. Revelation 17:26-29 The time has come for the second coming of Christ to arrive on earth. The extremism of Muslims might be seen as a danger to the west from the east. Substances are being produced in the southern hemisphere, while individuals in the northern hemisphere are looking for a high that lasts forever with those substances. Women continue to get abortions all around the globe. The homosexual agenda and transgenderism have spread their harmful indoctrination all across the world since they were first introduced. A church that is quickly becoming no longer relevant is being tainted by idolatry and religious hokey pokey of every type. Although God is kind, he is not a fool; he will hold us responsible, and the problems that are now being experienced on our world are the precursor to even more difficult times to come. The fact that practically all of the biblical prophecies about the second coming have already been fulfilled is something that can only be understood by people who have a strong foundation in the Bible. The few predictions that are still in existence are the most severe and conclusive of all those that are still left. Have we chosen to disregard the most significant indication of all? It is not a new practice to look for signs; yet, if you have missed the most significant indication of all time, it is of little consequence how you interpret the signals that are pointing to our current era. When Jesus was asked about the most significant indication of all time, he alluded to his own death and resurrection. “But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” 39–40 of Matthew 12 As soon as we have acknowledged the earth-altering event known as the resurrection and realized that it was the Son of the Living God who gave his life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world, we will be able to view all of the other signs in a clear and accurate manner. You will be saved if you confess the Lord Jesus with your lips and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead. This is the only condition for salvation. Because it is through the heart that a person believes in favor of righteousness, and through the tongue that one confesses in favor of redemption. In light of the fact that the Bible states, “Whoever believes in him shall not be embarrassed.” Revelation 10:9-11 Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
