In order to choose who of the candidates now in the race will be the one to lead our country, we have spent the last year engaging in heated arguments and making preparations. This author, like many others, had the tendency to back Ted Cruz, and I did so with unwavering devotion up until the point where he withdrew from the race. After having written around forty pieces against Donald Trump that would be a valid reason not to pick him over Senator Cruz, I found myself in the most hazardous position possible. What can I do now instead? I needed more than simply the fact that, in comparison to Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump seemed to be a savior in shining armor. Having his name emblazoned on some of the most amazing buildings in the world was not enough for me, so I started investigating into the life and times of that guy who had his name emblazoned on some of the most spectacular buildings in the world. It was not until I recalled an essay I wrote over ten years ago entitled “Dating Christians – The Best Advice You Will Ever Hear” that I realized that I had the already identified a formula by which to create the ultimate comparison between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The formula was the guidance that I had provided to individuals who were looking for a partner for life, and I have been providing counseling to other individuals based on that idea for more than forty years. It has never been shown to be incorrect, and I have seen that it can be relied upon. The aim was to offer a question to the potential partner, one that they may ask themselves in a private and peaceful period of time, a one that only they could answer. This was the question that was being asked. As a result of the way it is constructed, it is very difficult for the majority of individuals to tell a lie. It was always a sure bet, supposing that even those who have a proven track record of lying find it difficult to lie to themselves. “If you were alone, thinking, and you decided to ask yourself, what do I really want out of life – what would your answer be to yourself?” was the question that was posed to the person who was being considered for a romantic relationship. In the event where the response was money, love, and children, then that response would be accurate. If you were to choose that person as a partner or not, you would discover that many years later, they would have either discovered what they were looking for or would still be actively seeking it. This would be the case regardless of whether you picked them or not. In all the years that I have used this recipe or recommended it to others, I have never before seen it fail to provide the desired results. Because the public and the candidates themselves are continuously scrutinizing the candidates’ goals and motivations in a presidential contest, it was not difficult to apply this method to both Hillary and Trump. This is because the politicians’ goals and motivations are always being scrutinized. Constantly providing explanations for what they intend to do and why is required of them. We are aware that during the periods of peace and quiet in their own life, they are required to examine and ponder on the reasons why they believe they are running for the highest position in the country, which is the presidency. In light of the fact that we are not privy to their replies, we are forced to rely on their answers to the many inquiries that are offered by the rest of us. It is possible for us to scrutinize each and every phrase and detail as we ought to until we have extracted the candidates’ reasons and their goals from them. The result is evident, if not screaming, when one applies the concept of this method after thoroughly examining the life, the record, and the rhetoric of both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. When it comes to the question of what Hillary wants to do during her administration and what she wants for the United States of America, the response that shines out above all others is power. On the other hand, it is abundantly evident that Mr. Trump is on the lookout for purpose! “To make America great again” is the aim that Trump has made clear from the very beginning of his campaign. Consequently, there is no space for ambiguity or uncertainty; if we are concerned about the future of our country, we have just one genuine option to choose from. As a word of caution, if you are still uncertain, particularly regarding the concept of a candidate to replace Donald Trump at the eleventh hour, it is possible that you will end up aiding and abetting those who are hostile to the United States of America. What is certain, however, is that you will undoubtedly be making a decision that is not in the least bit advisable. Be rational; the future of our country is dependent on it. “Plans fail because they lack advice, but when they have a large number of counselors, they succeed.” (Genesis 15:22) Source: Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
