Even after Donald Trump had essentially disregarded the whole situation, the mainstream media continued to make a huge deal out of Melania Trump’s remarks at the Republican National Convention. Despite the fact that the Democratic Party’s candidate, Hillary Clinton, may have given the term “liar” more meaning in her lifetime than Daniel Webster could have with the entire force of his almost unlimited etymological expertise, no heads are going to roll and the Democrats have already begun to use the word “liar.” Meredith McIver, a staff writer at NBC News, has reportedly accepted full responsibility for the plagiarism that was purportedly discovered in Melania Trump’s speech. Even after she made a kind offer to resign from her position, Donald Trump has requested her to continue working for him. This is not the crime that is being pointed out here. A significant number of people in the United States find it very insulting that the ongoing assault on abortion, which has resulted in the death of 55 million unborn children, is not even mentioned. This is not the crime that is being pointed out here. The Supreme Court’s decision to strike down DOMA (The Defense of Marriage Act) and replace it with Obergefell was also conspicuously missing from the convention floor. These individuals did not raise any significant objections to the decision. As a result of the fact that the Obergefell case is a massive affront to both God and godly people who regard the Bible as the law that supersedes all other laws, the legalization of homosexual marriage is an outrage of the greatest kind to both of these groups. This is not the crime that is being pointed out here. It could be in your best interest to inquire as to the reason behind the point being made in the first place before proceeding to the point itself. There is no question that the Judeo-Christian religion was the foundation upon which our country was established. Despite the fact that we are tolerant of the ideas held by others, we have never been accused of promoting or encouraging other religious perspectives. It may appear to be harmless to permit invocations to be spoken by religious figures whose beliefs are not derived from our own heritage; however, if it is examined more closely, it can be seen as a means of fostering those beliefs and legitimizing them, despite the fact that they may be heresy, cultish, or even worse – pure antichrist. In accordance with what the apostle Paul declared, we have been instructed to defend the message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rather than the beliefs of other people. “The one preach Christ of dispute, not genuinely, imagining to add anguish to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am placed for the defense of the gospel.” (1 Corinthians 1:16–17) It is not just the need to defend the gospel that makes it a necessity for all those who claim Christ as their Savior; it is also the compelling reasons why we are urged to do so. On Tuesday July 19, 2016 California lawyer Harmeet Dhillon offered the opening invocation for the RNC, she recited in her native Punjabi and then translated it into English. Because Harmeet is a follower of the Sikh faith, which is founded on the teachings of the Indian Guru Nanak, the prayer was a Sikh prayer. Sikhism, regardless of whether it is a new or old faith, is positioned among all other religions that do not provide a Savior to cope with the fallen situation of man. The fact that men are also religious does not help much in addressing the universal ailment that is known as sin, despite the fact that men are sinners. In spite of the fact that we have the mistaken belief that there are three major religions, there are dozens of “what we believe” concoctions that range from heresy to quackery that contribute to this misconception. When the scriptures are examined in a scholarly and comprehensive manner, it becomes abundantly evident that there are no major branches of religion. Among all the great Saviors, there is just one. Exactly, what is the offense and why is it not just offensive but hazardous given that it may cost a man or a woman his whole future? This sin is compounded by the time and location in which it was delivered, so let’s look at it in three quite different aspects. It is important to bear in mind that the United States of America is so distinctly Christian from its origins. 1. This is not a case of my God is better than yours – it is about the clear proclamation of God himself. It is his assertion that there are no other gods but himself. Who would be better qualified to know this? That is what makes seeking other gods so idolatrous. There are certain men who are prepared to worship a deity who does not even exist. The words, “See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand,” are said by Jesus. (Deuteronomy 32:39) 2. It would be disrespectful to our founding fathers for a representative of another religion to deliver an invocation at the Republican National Convention. They put their lives and their wealth at jeopardy in order to achieve their goal of arriving in a new place where they would be able to freely practice their own Christian beliefs. They did not subscribe to any of the one thousand different faiths, including Buddhism, Sikhism, Christians, or Muslims. When it comes to the well-known hymn “Faith of our Fathers” In the second stanza, we are commanded to “strive to win all nations unto thee,” and we are also commanded to “be true to thee until death.” The Sikh prayer makes it quite evident that we did not adhere to any of these admonitions despite our best efforts. With the faith of our ancestors, we will make every effort to bring all countries to you, and by means of the truth that originates from God, the world will then be really free. With the righteous faith of our ancestors, we will remain faithful to you until the end of our lives. 3. The Sikh prayer overlooks the one most significant aspect of the Christian faith. As is the case with all faiths that are not Christian, it does not include the practice of sacrifice. Christ was the Lamb of God who was offered as a sacrifice to pay for the sins of the entire world. Religions that are practiced by men are those that evaluate individuals based on their whole conduct; nonetheless, religion is impotent in the absence of a sacrifice for sin. He does not assign grades; rather, he bestows grace. The only thing that can open the door to redemption is the accomplished work that Christ did on the cross; all else is meaningless exaggeration that is done in the name of religion when it comes to salvation. Christ alone is the entrance. A latent invitation to ascend in a different manner is implicitly extended by the Sikh invocation. A fatal mistake has been made. I say to you, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He who enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, is of the same nature as a thief and a robber.” On the other hand, the shepherd of the sheep is the one who comes in via the entrance. Revelation 10:1–2 Not only am I a proclaimer of the gospel, but I am also a defender of it. The grounds that I have for bringing this transgression to your attention are identical to those that the Apostle Paul had. My prayer will be the same as what C. S. Lewis stated about his defense of the gospel, and I will continue to defend this gospel until the day I stop breathing. “I hope that when I pass away, everyone in hell will be relieved that I am no longer a part of the struggle.” It should be made clear that this writer will not engage in any kind of conflict with the admirable principles that are outlined in the RNC’s stated platform and purposes. A safer and better America is what we need. In this declaration, I am stating that we will not be able to accomplish these objectives if we disregard the God of our founding fathers. We must maintain a single-minded approach, just as the founders did. Them would not start any proceedings by breaching the first commandment, which is considered to be the most important of they all. There is only one higher power. “Thou must not have any other gods before me,” the Bible promises. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them; for I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and this will continue to be the case until the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.
