Doug Johnson, a prolific writer and blogger, recently released an article in which he discussed the possibility that Hillary Clinton may wind up being elected president if Ted Cruz were to win the election. When I read Doug’s article, I realized that this colorful writer was loaded with political savvy and a great deal of insight, but with a touch of the conspiracy theorist penchant for the phrase “what is really behind the scenes, even though nobody can prove it.” I came to this realization after visiting Doug’s blog. There was just one particular point in Doug’s piece that I was unable to get out of my head, and that was the one that was published on the recently established website known as “Barbwire,” which was directed by J. Matt Barber. It had nothing to do with Hillary, but rather it was determined by how the people in the United States interpret or comprehend the messages that are being sent to them by the many candidates running for the Republican Party in this election cycle. According to Mr. Johnson, the reason why the message that Mr. Trump is trying to convey resonates with so many people in the United States is because it is presented to them on the level of a fifth grader. According to Johnson, “The Republican candidates were criticized for speaking below a college level at the most recent debate, with every candidate speaking between a fifth grade and ninth grade level (Trump at the fifth grade level, Cruz at the ninth grade level, and everyone else in between).” However, the fact of the matter is that anyone who has studied marketing communications and public speaking is aware that it is best to speak between a fifth grade and eighth grade level in order to make your message easily understandable. This is also the level that is capable of achieving the greatest amount of persuasion. The conclusion that Mr. Johnson reached is one that practically everyone would reach after watching the whole upper-tier Republican discussion that took place on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, which lasted for two hours. It would seem that China is the most significant challenge facing the United States of America if we were to distill Mr. Trump’s evaluation of the United States’ shortcomings down to its core. If we are able to get China back on track, we will be on our way to a full recovery of our economy. All of this is not even close to being of a better caliber. Trump has made it quite plain that he is a candidate who is mostly one-note, while the politics and the issues that exist in the globe today are now a symphony that is being performed poorly and out of tune. However, there are many who believe that the rising dissatisfaction with politicians is what attracts supporters to Trump. In order to provide an explanation for the phenomena of Trump, I would propose an entirely different interpretation. Simply said, we are making the same errors that we did in 2008 and 2012. We made a conscious decision to put our faith in a campaign slogan that was a vague promise of something that we all believed we needed, which was change. We were captivated by a person from popular culture who assured us that both the moon and the stars would be ours, and we would not be discouraged. We perceive that it is a blazing heap of unfulfilled promises, falsehoods, and the deepest trip into immorality that both we and our predecessors could have ever envisioned. This realization comes about eight years after the event first occurred. Currently, we are of the opinion that males marrying other guys is pleasant, that the Keystone pipeline is a problem, and that the growing view in the United States that abortion is murder and that many abortions are genocide is depressing. As a result of Barack Obama’s demonstration of his transformation, everybody who still has even a sliver of a conscience is now standing in stark disbelief at the phrase “Change we can believe in” from 2008. It was not the intellect of a fifth-grader that led to the election of the pop culture hero to the presidency; rather, it was the lack of discernment that comes after a decade long assault on all that is biblical, godly, and yes, constitutional. We were charmed by the tall, dark, and attractive foreigner who had a song and dance routine, a wide grin, and words that were as smooth as silk. The pursuit of the call of our ancestors to circumspection, justice, and morality is both rewarding and arduous. It is delightful to be entertained, but it is also unpleasant and exhausting. Currently, the nation is in a state of instability at home, is being ridiculed in other countries, and is woefully unprepared for the changes that are sweeping the world. This has left the nation, which was once the most influential nation in history, in a neutral ground that is both impractical and dangerous in terms of liberalism and weakness. More than sixty million Christians either chose to remain at home or refused to acknowledge the fact that when they voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and again in 2012, they were essentially committing the most heinous act of moral deterioration that has ever been committed by any nation in the history of the world. They were also committing the act of causing the deaths of additional innocent American babies. The gypsy magician was given the opportunity to lead the country, despite the fact that they were deeply rooted in apostasy and a lack of motivation. They gave the responsibility to the lovely realm of entertainment. We believe that the solution to all of Obama’s failed prestidigitation is to vote in a man whose ego took ten billion dollars to build, and then to sit back and relax as the fairy dust settles down and creates the warm glowing nation that will once again be “great.” Now, in 2016, the magic show appears to be beginning, yet again, as we believe that this is the answer to all of Obama’s failed prestidigitation. With an arrogant flick of the wrist and these unforgettable words, Trump dismissed the Governor of one of our most populous states, whose record as an innovator and economist is unparalleled. He said, “I have built a company worth billions and billions of dollars, I don’t have to listen to this guy.” The Governor was immediately booed on the spot. If a governor doesn’t have anything to say to a powerful billionaire, then how much does Trump care about the low-income worker, the single mother, or anybody else who falls into the low-income bracket? In case we forget, Kasich was responsible for pulling Ohio out of a deficit of eight billion dollars and, at the same time, reducing the costs of expenditure by the United States government by 160 billion dollars. Every single person, not just one, profited from this, and it was not just one individual. Rather of serving himself, Kasich was helping others. Because this is hardly the answer of a great man, it is difficult to see how Donald Trump can lead the country to greatness. Quite independently, I learnt that guys who are not great do not know how to make countries great. My father taught me that any idiot with money can make money. I also learned that I can make money in any situation. One of my closest and most reliable friends has expressed their opinion that Donald Trump behaves like a schoolyard hero, fueled by the muscles of his billion-dollar ego. It is not possible for me to find a significant objection or a way to reduce the impact of my friend’s quaint but accurate evaluation. The evaluation that Doug Johnson made of the American voter is one that I will have to agree to at this point. We are the same level of intelligence as a fifth grader. Despite the fact that this author did not originate or define the concept of stupidity, I came to realize many years ago that if we take a look at what the wisest man ever said about knowledge and then look at the exact opposite of wisdom, we find a reality that is special but unfortunately terrible. Solomon, the great king, is credited as saying, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the holy is insight.” tenth verse of Proverbs The conclusion that can be drawn from this is that the beginning of idiocy is the only possible outcome that may result from ignoring God and giving up any knowledge of him and his counsels. An whole generation ago, liberalism was the beginning of this type of foolishness, which eventually led to the rise of Barack Obama. Everything that came after his administration is what ended up happening, and the most important question that we can ask at this point is whether or not history is poised to repeat itself via the most recent pop-culture star of the Republican Party, Mr. Donald Trump. Since the year 2005, Michael Bresciani has been serving as the publisher of American Prophet.org. It is because of the articles and reports written by Reverend Bresciani, as well as the contributions of some of the most talented writers and journalists in the United States, as well as the news and reviews that the website has acquired the moniker of “The Website for Insight.” His timely reports and writings have been published in print and online journals and magazines and have been read by millions of people all over the world and nationwide.
