In 1979, I was able to attend a conference in Makkah with the Iranian revolutionary delegation, which was led by the current Imam Khamenei. I vividly remember the encounter to this day. In Makkah, they were staying in the Emarah Jiffali, also known as the Jiffali building, which is located in the Shahrah e Ghazza. In addition to having just started working as an Executive Pharmacist at a retail chain owned by a Saudi acquaintance, I had previously held the position of a famous student leader in Pakistan. Instead of speaking to me in English, the Imam Khamenei spoke with me in Urdu. Despite the fact that they had a kind manner of speech, they were strong in their ideological stance. During the processions that the Shia Muslims brought to Makkah, they had a confrontation with the Saudi police in order to promote their particular kind of revolution. They screamed chants hostile to the United States of America, the Saudi king, and Israel. The next year, when I had relocated to the United States, I was able to listen to President Carter’s address on the unsuccessful mission of the United States to secure the release of our hostages from Tehran via the media in New York. The relationship between the two nations was fraught with tension. The spiritual and revolutionary leader of the Iranian people, Imam Khomeini, who consistently advocated for the overthrow of the governments of the United States of America, Israel, and Arab countries, referred to the United States as the “Big Satan.” Iran, on the other hand, continued to be the axis of evil as far as we were concerned. Today, the so-called “Big Satan” that Imam Khomeini referred to around 37 years ago was the leader of the world to make concessions to Iran in order to change her position on the global stage. This concession allowed Iran to rejoin the comity of nations, and Iran became the receiver of it. THIS IS THE FINAL RESULTS: At the time of the Iranian revolution, the United States of America and the Soviet Union both held the position of being the world’s superpowers. The United States of America is now the only superpower that can be found on the map of the planet. In this situation, the United States of America is the one making concessions, while Iran is the one getting concessions. Who triumphed and who fell in the 37 years that have passed? One thing that should be learned by all of the countries in the Middle East, including Pakistan: The relationship with the United States of America is not something that should be taken for granted. Although it is difficult to earn, the United States continues to prefer the majority of Arab states, the state of Israel, and Pakistan. Pakistan is also a favorite country of the United States. Instead of engaging in ping-pong in international politics, I ask that you please maintain the status quo. In the same way that they were unsuccessful in saving Saddam and Qaddafi, the Russians would also be unsuccessful in saving Assad of Syria. Terrorist groups such as the Shiite Hezbollah and the Sunni Taliban need to give up their weapons and shift their philosophy from one of terrorism to one of peace. Iran’s 37-year fight against the United States without success has made the United States stronger by the day. This serves as a lesson for those who harbor hatred for the United States of America. The United States of America is the only superpower in the world at the present time because of its freedom, inclusivity, courage, diversity, and rule of law. FRIENDSHIP WITH PAKISTAN IN THE UNITED STATES LONG LIVED.
