Political scandals seem to be making their way into the headlines on a regular basis as of late, and there is no indication that this trend will abate any time soon. The public’s trustworthiness and tolerance with their elected leaders has been substantially dropping, and many people have given up hope that there will ever be a shift in the political landscape that would result in an honest politician who prioritizes the people.
