As soon as I finished reading all of the “fear articles” and watching all of the footage on the local TV news about “all the dreadful things kratom may do to you,” I was finally able to give myself the freedom to read some actual research. It is clear from all of the evidence, and I do mean all of it, that kratom is not only a safe herb with medicinal properties but also a very healthy one. Kratom has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure, strengthen the immune system, and there are even preliminary studies that suggest it may help cure type two diabetes. I’ve also found that it naturally elevates mood, similar to how St. John’s Wort does, but without interfering with serotonin levels in the brain. What used to terrify me about the statement that “it connects to the brain’s mu opioids” now inspires me, since I’ve learnt that this does not make it a drug any more than cheese, dark chocolate and coffee (kratom’s cousin), and the majority of fatty foods do. They all do the same thing, attaching themselves to the mu opioid receptors in the brain. When a herb or drug attaches to all of them, that is when we have a problem. Some examples of drugs that can do this include hydrocodone and oxycodone, but the list is not exhaustive. Early research conducted in January at Ole Miss indicates that kratom has the potential to help patients simply stop using such medicines without the dreadful addictive side effects that are associated with methadone, suboxadone, and other pharmaceuticals. My long-term, unrelenting agony served as the catalyst for me to start researching kratom. This suffering has been going on for at least ten years. The medical community had experimented with a wide variety of medications, the most majority of which were opiates; but, after a few days, none of them worked until I increased the dose. Kratom, on the other hand, had the complete opposite effect. The threshold for tolerance was quite low and not difficult at all. I discovered the lowest effective dose for me, as well as the highest dose that was harmful, and I settled on a maintenance dose of around four capsules per day. When I first found out, it was eight months ago, and it is still the same now. I don’t need anything else for it to function properly. I do not experience any euphoria (sorry, party ravers, this is not your herb), and I do not experience any hallucinations (sorry, 60s past-due hippies, this may not be for you either), but I do get solid, extremely efficient pain relief from some of the most extreme pain (according to neurologists) that anyone can experience. People should not try out kratom “just for fun,” since this is not something I would encourage. why? because anybody who is attempting to experiment is likely to consume far more than is necessary. Is there a risk involved? no. It is possible for them to experience nausea and/or fall asleep, but there have never been any incidents of kratom leading to overdose or fatalities. Who, in my opinion, would gain from having access to it? a number of different organizations could. persons who suffer from anxiety and/or depression and who may not feel comfortable using medicines are some examples. It is effective while avoiding the “head fog” and hangover that are common side effects of many of those medications. those who, like myself, suffer from a wide variety of aches and pains yet do not want to use medicines. persons who suffer from conditions such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, toothaches, neuralgia, sleeplessness, and a lack of vitality, amongst others. Despite the fact that it is related to coffee and has a habituation potential comparable to that of coffee, publications and tales that are focused on fear have already portrayed it as being as addictive as morphine and as being exceedingly harmful. I’m still waiting for the science behind those claims (nobody ever seems to be able to come forward with it), though I’m sure that, similar to the demonization of marijuana, we’ll soon see some big pharma-sponsored studies that show it turns people into vampires who steal wives and take them to castles for the rest of their lives. On the other hand, I have a lot of evidence from scientific research to support my claim that opting out of taking pharmaceuticals that are exceedingly dangerous and really cause death is a very astute decision. I consider kratom to be an absolute lifesaver, and it didn’t take me very long to get to that conclusion. After the second or third attempt, I was certain that it would work (knew it was not my imagination). When I initially ran out of it and had to go without my pain medication (aspirin) for a week, that’s when I realized it wasn’t very likely to turn into a habit. I had flu-like symptoms for a day, which is much how I feel whenever I go without coffee. It was then that I realized the “media demonization of kratom” was in full gear, just like in the 1930s, when demonization against marijuana was in full gear. This was based on the twisted mind of america’s first drug czar who wanted to make a name for himself, claiming mexican men were bringing it over the border (called it locoweed), and raping all of our american women in our border towns. That was more over a hundred years ago. America was once governed by racism and terror. Not even a month or two after Obama made those words, the innocuous therapeutic plant marijuana was suddenly classified as a schedule 1 substance that kills people (in the same league with heroin, cocaine etc). and people in the United States believed it. Even American medical professionals participated in the hoax. But now they are getting what’s coming to them from karma. It has been stated that those who fail to learn from the past are destined to go through it again. And I see a lot of individuals who assume they are free from history condemning kratom even though it has a long and illustrious history. They are not the same. and time again, similar to how it was with marijuana, will reveal who was on the right side of history, and who was not. ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Offbeat drawings and humorous presents were both established by the well-known artist and entrepreneur rick London. He is a vocal supporter of the campaign to maintain the legality of the analgesic plant kratom, which is helping individuals wean themselves off of opiate narcotics. He asserts that the company kratom-k.com, which is situated in southern California, is responsible for producing the highest-quality kratom available anywhere. He loves not only the quality but also the pricing, and if consumers use the discount code “kratom” at checkout, they may save an additional 15% off the already affordable rates. He is pleased with both aspects.
