In the week beginning on Monday, November 23, and ending on Friday, November 27, YouTube will be hosting its first ever virtual YouTube Black Africa Artists Week. This week is devoted to encouraging, educating, and motivating African creators to expand their presence on the platform. The highlights of the one-week program include seminars taught by industry professionals that cover a variety of subjects, including comprehending YouTube’s monetisation laws, evaluating the effectiveness of a channel, and engaging a community via content creation. In addition, the initiative has a creator spotlight chat with Mark Angel, the most subscribed indigenous creative in Africa, as well as training classes on YouTube and open conversations driven by peers with the goal of enhancing creator cooperation and knowledge exchange.
