This is the third year that the scholarships will be given out to deserving students. 39 applicants submitted their applications for the award this year. At the awards event on June 2, each laureate will receive a sum of one thousand dollars. Ocean Mist Farms has been in business for 94 years, and its commitment in these guiding beliefs is a testament to the company’s past. The Ocean Mist Farms Academic Scholarship Program provides a total of seven academic scholarships, each worth $1,000, to students who have shown exceptional academic achievement. There are two scholarships available, each worth $1,000, and they are only accessible to dependents of employees working with Ocean Mist Farms Affiliate Company. Candidates who are successful in their application show that they make judgments based on the four guiding ideals in their day-to-day lives and the pursuit of education. Applicants must have completed high school and have a grade point average of at least 3.0.
