In his design of a fleet of alluring automobiles, which are limited-edition collector’s treasures, the French artist Antoine Dufilho utilizes the plasticity of metal to explore its potential applications. Antoine Dufilho, a sculptor, is enthusiastic about the most recent M.A.D.Gallery Exhibition in Geneva, which is titled “Sequential.” His enthusiasm for art and vehicles is more important to him than his practical training in architecture and medicine. An avant-garde exhibition of eight different automobiles is referred to as “Sequential.” Beginning with the “big gun” itself, the Ferrari 250 GTO, which is also known as the “Mona Lisa” of the automotive world (it is lauded for being the most exclusive and rare machine on the planet due to the fact that only 39 units were produced), the collection also includes other enviable automobiles, such as the Mercedes W196 Streamliner, the Jaguar E-Type, the Auto-Union-Avus, and a Porsche 356, all of which have been painstakingly and diligently crafted by hand in order to showcase their distinctive classic contours. An individual approach is used to define each individual element. The Ferrari is constructed with a fuselage that is handcrafted in resin and finished with automotive paint to enhance the aerodynamic appeal of the vehicle. Its sleek lines and smooth black surface emphasize its signature speed, and it rests on a base that is 75 centimeters by 35 centimeters and is polished aluminum. Wall mounting is used for the Aston Martin DB5, which is often referred to as the “James Bond automobile” and made its debut in the film Goldfinger. In order to depict his interpretation of the automobile that has its front end embedded in the wall and racing through the polished stainless-steel mounting, Dufilho’s creative method involves the use of curved stainless-steel pieces that are carefully stacked. Predominantly using metal as it grants him the “freedom to add or subtract, unlike wood”, Antoine constructs a sexy silhouette of the iconic Bugatti Type 57S Atlantic (perhaps one of the most important models in the history of Bugatti, sold between 1934 – 1940) with polish-finished stainless-steel plates and bronze wheels, parked on a polished aluminum base. Additionally, there are two artist editions of the sculpture that measures 76 centimeters by 20 centimeters by 33 centimeters. A celebrity in the world of automobiles, the one-of-a-kind Jaguar E-Type stands out for its stature and its innovative approach. It is a vehicle that is really exceptional. 2,250 handcrafted stainless steel rods, each measuring only 2mm in diameter and coloured to emphasize the exquisite aesthetics of the automobile, are strategically and meticulously placed, one-by-one, on a rosewood base, inviting viewers to discover a lightweight and airy representation of this well-known automobile. The rods are coloured to emphasize the exquisite aesthetics of the automobile. Whenever someone walks by, the automobile seems to be moving because of its distinctive structure, which has a base that rotates, giving the impression that it is moving. The highlight of the exhibition is this item, which measures 78.5 centimeters in length and 24 centimeters in height. The sleek lines and curves of each vehicle are broken down into successive layers in each sculpture, which then materialize into a contemporary automotive framework and expose the contours of the vehicle. This sequential portrayal creates a dynamic impact since it allows the viewer to examine the work from a variety of viewpoints, which gives the impression that a static item is moving. Through the use of alternating symmetries and asymmetries, which demonstrate the sensation of acceleration or deceleration, Antoine comes to the conclusion that the dynamic effect is elevated. MB&F M.A.D. Gallery, located at 11 rue Verdaine 1204 Geneva, Switzerland, will be hosting the exhibition until the end of September. 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday Entry is free of charge.
