Redding, California: On November 2, a mother of two who was 34 years old and a wife went missing while running on the ancient oregon trail. Her husband found out about her disappearance later that day. In the two weeks since Sherri’s disappearance, her family has not received any leads or made any contact with either her kidnapper or her, despite the fact that they have raised more than $42,000 through a gofundme campaign and have offered a reward of $50,000 for her safe return. Despite these efforts, the family has not been able to locate Sherri. Her family and spouse, who goes by the name of keith papini, are certain that this was an act of abduction on purpose. “She is my wife, and I am familiar with all there is to know about her. In an interview, he said, I know that my wife will never leave me and never in a million years abandon our kids.” After keith was subjected to a polygraph test and his whereabouts at the time of sherri’s kidnapping were established, he was exonerated of any responsibility for the crime. Now, a private citizen is getting involved and is working with a trained hostage negotiator in an effort to contact Sherri’s kidnapper and make arrangements for her quick release. They are hoping to strike an agreement with the kidnapper that will result in Sherri’s safe return. The individual who published a letter to Sherri’s kidnapper on http://sherripapini.com/ has no intention of contacting with the local sheriff’s department and is solely concerned with bringing Sherri back to her family. Since he is only going to be in Redding for a short while due to the fact that he is only a tourist here, the offer to negotiate will be withdrawn following his departure. bringsherrihome@gmail.com is the address of the email account that has been created for the purpose of facilitating communication with the negotiator. A temporary phone number has also been established; however, the concerned private citizen has requested that this number be used exclusively for communicating with the person responsible for the abduction. This is due to the fact that a busy line may prevent the person responsible from making contact. That may be reached at (530) 351-2748. Once again, we ask that you not utilize this number for any questions related to the press or even for leads. Please contact the negotiator at the above email address if you have a lead or a press request. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
