In retrospect, Hughes said, “Practice was quite wet, and it was my first time running in the vehicle in the wet, so there was a lot to learn.” The race was held in the rain. When compared head-to-head with the beginning of the testing process, the difference in automobile balance that was achieved at the conclusion was highly encouraging. In the first race, we had a very excellent pace, or prospective pace, since I spent the whole race caught behind other competitors. It came to a disastrous conclusion as a result of a poor maneuver performed by the vehicle in front of me in the braking zone. However, we were able to make significant strides with the vehicle during the second race. Graham shared his thoughts, saying, “we had a really challenging weekend. I didn’t go to Hungary expecting a podium finish, but I believed we might have been in the middle of the pack.” The weather made the one practice I had more difficult, then qualifying was held in a variety of circumstances, and the first race was probably one of the most challenging I’ve ever had since I had to learn the track while it was dry.
