The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu, also known as The Gateway to Nepal and The Gateway to Mount Everest. The first thing that everybody who has visited Nepal thinks of when they think of Kathmandu is its numerous temples and its vibrant culture. The world heritage monuments of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath Temple (also known as the Monkey Temple), and Changunarayan are in the memories of thousands of tourists who have visited Nepal. People still don’t know where to go in the Kathmandu valley, where there are many sites to see. Hinduism and Buddhism come together in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath, the best Hindu shrine, is located in the eastern section of Kathmandu and draws thousands of visitors each year. Any peace enthusiast would be held mesmerized by magnificent stupas like Swyambhunath and Boudhanath, succumb to the symbol of peace, and carry the hypnotic experience home. It’s a great chance to get out of the city and see the countryside or jungle, and most of all, the kids will adore bathing the elephants, riding them, and playing with the baby elephants at the breeding facility. Interaction with these gentle giants will be remembered as a highlight for a very long time. The best part is that with an average cost of US$80 per person for three full days of meals, housing, transportation, and jungle activities, There are many things to do in Nagarkot, one of the best mountain channels, so get back to Kathmandu and get there. To get there, book a cab in advance or board the daily tourist bus from Thamel at 7 am regularly during the tourist season and on demand throughout the year. Everyone travels to Nepal to see the Falls, which is Nagarkot’s main draw. If you’re lucky, a guide or member of the resort staff will be able to point from Mount Everest’s isolated summit, the world’s tallest mountain. At sunrise, Everest is clearly visible. The months of September through February offer the most breathtaking vistas of these highlands. Pre-reserving a hotel is advisable if you’re traveling on a Saturday because residents also adore this location. You can drive back to Kathmandu after spending the night in Nagarkot, or if you have a busy family, take the time to hike through hillside Tamang villages to Changunayaran, the oldest and one of the most beautiful temples in the entire Kathmandu Valley. The entrance cost is only 70 rupees per person, so it is definitely worth the trip. It’s simple to arrange a taxi from here to Bhaktapur, the historic walled town. The people still produce all types of pottery by hand for the temples and for domestic use in Potters Plaza, which is tucked away from the main square. Neighborhood guides can be hired at any guest home or at the main gate if you feel the urge to thoroughly explore the city. There are also adventure tour packages for Nepal that you can choose from if you want to fully see the nation and its nature without skipping any of its top attractions. Because of its spectacular charms, Katmandu continues to be the most popular choice for travelers all year long.
