Because of Roe, the hypocrisy of sanctuary cities is brought to light. One of the most pervasive examples of absurdity in contemporary America is the fact that, as a result of Roe v. Wade, we have prevented the entry of sixty million of our own children, while at the same time we insist that people who enter our country illegally have every right to be here. There is nothing that, more than anything else, lends itself to the concept of absolute hypocrisy than witnessing parades of demonstrators holding banners, some of which read things like “No human being is unlawful.” Oh, it’s true? During the most recent of the nomination hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch of the Appeals Court, Senator Dick Durbin posed a question to Gorsuch, asking him to explain how he could reconcile his conviction that every human existence had an inherent value with the decision that was made in Roe v. Wade. His response, despite the fact that it may have been imposed upon him, was the same as that of millions of Americans who are remaining steadfast in their commitment to Roe v. Wade and are fighting tooth and nail to ensure that it remains on the books at all costs. “Abortion is distinct because the unborn are not legally acknowledged as humans,” he said. “This situation is unique.” This answer defies every standard and any hope of sane protocol when it comes to responding to the cry that “no humans are illegal.” Even in the United States of America, where snowflakes and nominees for the Supreme Court can mouth the greatest absurdities with complete impunity, this answer disproves every standard. Despite the fact that we cannot have it both ways, if we persist on doing so, then we can only be accused of engaging in uncontrolled hypocrisy. Sanctuary cities are basically self-proclaimed places that are exempt from the law. Young people and immigrants who come in our country are given the impression that the law is arbitrary and that they have the ability to determine for themselves whether or not it should be observed. This is the example, the precedent, and the image that this makes for them. It should come as no surprise that they conduct such horrible acts inside the limits of their sanctuaries; nevertheless, this leaves the law-abiding native-born individuals who are entitled to asylum with no sanctuary under any circumstances. Due to the fact that numbers do not lie, it is impossible for the FBI and other police agencies to be incorrect. Illegal immigrants make up seventy-five percent of the individuals placed on the most wanted offenders list in the cities of Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Albuquerque. More over forty percent of all convicts in Arizona and forty-eight percent of all inmates in New Mexico are Mexican nationals. In addition, Mexican nationals make up one quarter of all inmates in detention institutions in the state of California. Undocumented immigrants are responsible for more than 53 percent of all burglaries that have been investigated and reported in the states of California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas. Sixty-three percent of drivers who have been cited in the state of Arizona do not possess a valid license, insurance, or registration for their vehicle. Of that total, 97 percent are considered to be illegal immigrants. Sixty-six percent of drivers who have been cited in the state of New Mexico do not possess a valid license, insurance, or registration for their vehicle. 99 percent of them 66 percent are considered to be illegal immigrants. It is observable, and it comes about as a result of the numbers. By alone, illegal immigrants have been responsible for 611,234 distinct offenses in the state of Texas alone. These crimes include sexual assaults and over 3,000 killings. Cities that provide sanctuary for whom – Texans, most definitely not. It is possible that the concept of permitting a genuine gang of criminals to enter and wander the country is the best explanation of the term hypocrisy that has been offered since the time of Daniel Webster. This is considered to be the most hypocritical thing that has ever been done. When you put these two arguments next to one other, you have the precise definition of hypocrisy shown. 1. Criminal immigrants who have attempted to enter this nation illegally and have been captured stand the possibility of serving some time in prison, and for many of them, the worst possible outcome would be expulsion. 2. The constitutionally protected people of our country, which we refer to as the unborn, who have not done any crimes are threatened with being slaughtered, dismembered, burnt with caustic chemicals, and eventually put to death. With his ability to see into the future, the Apostle Paul was able to see our day, and he cautioned against hypocrisy of this type. It is said in the Bible that “Now the Spirit speaks explicitly that in the latter times some will wander from the truth, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons; speaking falsehoods in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.” (1 Timothy 4:1-2) Since 2005, Michael Bresciani has served as the editor of the website American Prophet.org.
