This Gay Lesbian Wedding Expo is being promoted by the individuals who laid the groundwork for Rainbow Wedding Network. It is comprised of a broad collection of over thirty-five gay-friendly wedding suppliers that celebrate gay and lesbian vendors. The following types of businesses are included as exhibitors: locations for ceremonies and receptions; event organizers; cake decorators; musical entertainment; photographers; florists; trip planners; and real estate agents. There will be an invitation sent to activists and couples from the neighboring communities. There will be presentations given by individuals from local equality organizations, who will discuss their views on the gay and lesbian community, equality, and the ongoing need for advancement and cooperation. The reception for thirty guests will be held at Pine Manor in Mount Prospect, Illinois, which is situated in the Northwest West Suburbs at the time. It is the Reverend’s own home, a 1920s Dutch Colonial with a garden that is ideal for the limited guest list, and it has received five-star reviews, which state that it is the most distinctive small wedding location in Chicago. Within the context of the “unusual” marriages that took place at her house, she was featured as the national “wrap” for ABC Radio news broadcast on December 12th, 2012. As part of the MCA Illinois marriage equality celebration that took place on June 2, 2014, Rev Pam was one of the five officiants who were requested to marry couples of the same gender. The Reverend’s residence, Pine Manor, which is situated in Mt. Prospect, Illinois, served as the setting for the remote broadcast of My Fox Chicago’s morning program on May 30, 2014, which featured Darlene Hill, a journalist who has won several awards. There were seven three- to four-minute segments that were shown during the national program. These features were joined by other couples who the Reverend had married, as well as the local hotel partner, Country Inn and Suites.
