In the Olivet Discourse, which is considered to be one of the most thorough warnings about the second coming of Christ, Jesus cautioned all Christians to keep a watchful eye out for any signs. Therefore, keep vigilance, because you are not aware of the time at which your Lord will arrive. [Matthew 24:42] The apostate church of the end days, which is defined as a church that is faltering and going away, is sadly a part of the issue. A significant portion of the church in the modern day has become self-sufficient, has rebelled, and has compromised its rigorous commitment to biblical commands and what is usually referred to as sound theology. In order to maintain their steadfastness and protect the fundamentals of their religion, those who are still loyal are being obliged to take on an increasingly important role. The opposition and belligerence of a world that is rising to welcome the well-prophesied antichrist does not make the church what it is; rather, it merely exposes what the church is. This is something that many ministers have said on several occasions. All the loyal will continue to be faithful, right up to the very last second of time. Even the most knowledgeable eschatologist may have difficulty keeping up with the rapid pace at which events are occurring all around the world. This is because the events are piling on quicker than they ever have before. Activism on the part of LGBT people is now reaching the level of dictatorship. In spite of the biblical warning that homosexuality is an abomination to God that will cause severe judgments to fall on nations that promote it, the LGBT hawks have managed to cause a socially driven sweep of general acceptance of everything “gay” throughout the United States. This acceptance has been a result of the LGBT hawks’ efforts. A federal judge in Texas has ruled that the state’s newly approved prohibition on “gay marriage” should be overturned, pending an appeal in the appellate court later this year. This decision was made in response to the actions of two homosexuals. In some cases, gays create such a stir among activists that any attempt to create new legislation to curb the advancement of the LGBT agenda is right out of the gate. This is just one example of the many cases that have occurred in the United States in which judges have overstepped the boundaries of the law and overridden the will of the people. It was decided by Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona to reject Senate Law 1060, which would have granted companies the ability to deny service to homosexual customers. The reason for this decision was that the bill might potentially cause more difficulties for the LGBT community than it would be worth. In the meanwhile, cake manufacturers and other companies have been forced to shut down or have been subjected to significant fines and penalties for refusing to provide services to LGBT individuals on the basis of their own religious convictions. It should come as no surprise that Barack Obama’s cosy attitude toward “gay marriage,” the entertainment business, and other LGBT issues are all contributing to the raging flames of the LGBT community. In a public statement, Mr. Obama expressed his disagreement with the clarity that is found in the first chapter of the book of Romans. It is an awfully steep price to pay for a ticket on the pop-culture train of today’s false PC-driven societal improvements, but the Bible not only describes all homosexual conduct as an abomination, but it also states that the ultimate consequence of it is everlasting separation from God. Where exactly is this going to lead? Despite the fact that I have been studying eschatology for more than forty years, when it comes to this particular scenario, it would only take a beginner to see that everything is headed down the fast track right to hell – very literally. Antichrist watchers are on high alert as a result of the significant developments that have occurred in Europe in only three short months. Attempting to identify the precise identity of the antichrist in the present day may seem to be fruitless due to the fact that a large number of politicians and rising stars in the political class are now adopting a completely liberal and nearly completely godless stance. As a matter of fact, it is not necessary for us to be concerned since, even if we do not know for certain who he is at the moment, the whole world will be aware of his identity when, as the Bible says, he will be revealed. “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Timothy 2: 3–4) An election for a new President of the European Union is scheduled to take place in May of 2014. Additionally, a fresh drive for the total political preeminence of the European Union parliament over the sovereignty of each country is also in the works. Escapologists should pay close attention to the current pool of candidates that are competing for the position of succeeding Herman Van Rompuy, who is stepping down from his position. Greek politician Alexis Tsipras is an intriguing contender who stands out from the majority of the other candidates in a clear and obvious way. Not only is he the youngest of all the candidates, but he is also the nominee for the Party of the European Left. He is 39 years old. According to him, he is a complete atheist, and his political beliefs stem from communism and socialism. Although he has not yet tied the knot, he has been living with his high school sweetheart for twenty years, and the two of them have only one kid together. Not only is he unquestionably one of the most well-known figures in Greece, but he was also overwhelmingly elected to the SYRIZA, which is a combination of thirteen extreme far-left factions. Although he does not have a long established history of substantial successes or generally known political goals or talents, he has the attribute of being believed, which is similar to that of Barack Obama. All of the rapidly ascending and rapidly burning stars in the European political theater will be subjected to a very close examination beginning at this point and continuing ahead within the framework of the eschatological time schedule. He is obviously not the only one on the list, but Tsipras is definitely someone to keep an eye on. We can fairly assume that if the antichrist is not among them this time, we can nearly bet the farm that he will be on the short list in the next election. This is because the election of the next president of the European Union is for a period of five years. Why bother to watch? In a very clear warning, Christ told us that if we did not keep an eye on things, we may be caught totally off guard and ignorant. “And pay attention to yourself, lest at any moment your hearts get overburdened with surfing, drunkenness, and the worries of this life, and thus the day comes upon you without you being aware of it. The reason for this is because it will come upon all those people who live on the surface of the whole world like a trap.
