ANOTHER PAINTING BY CEZANNE TITLED “CARD PLAYERS” HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN A MYSTERIOUS MANNER.

The painting auction “Card Players” by Cezanne was a set of paintings that totaled five pieces, as is common knowledge around the world. In February of this year, a single piece of The Card Players was purchased by the royal family of Qatar for a sum that was more than 0.25 billion dollars. This was excellent news at the time since it caused a lot of excitement. There were five “Card Players” that Paul Cezanne had painted, according to earlier sources. In addition to the one piece that was sold at auction for 0.25 billion dollars, the other four pieces were all preserved in major museums around the world. These museums were the Orsay Museum in Paris, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Courtauld College in London, and the Barnes Museum of Art in Philadelphia. On the other hand, a painting replica that was thought to be part of the “Card Players” series was discovered not too long ago. This absolutely unheard-of piece of artwork was displayed at the house of a deceased collector in Dallas. It was consigned to the Christie auction house in New York and was handled by his wife. The sale of this piece was scheduled to take place on May 1 of this year, and the expected price ranged from 15 million to 20 million dollars. The acts of the gardener Paulin Paulet were the only ones represented in this work. Paulin Paulet was the only person who appears in any of Cezanne’s series of paintings titled “Card Players.” Sadly, Heinz F. Eichenwald, the collector of this work, had passed away. It was stated that his father purchased this picture in Berlin from the artist in the year 1930. After some time had passed, he managed to flee Nazi Germany by bringing this picture with him to the United States. A number of specialists were of the opinion that the date of completion of this piece of artwork by Cezanne was around the same as that of “Card Players” at the Orsay Museum. Approximately red, green, and gray were the hues that were used in the creation of two different masterpieces. This work was never made available to the general public after the one-time performance of A Card Player in the United States in the year 1953. The title of this exhibition was “From Van Gogh to Matisse in the French art, before and after the turning of the century.”
